Magnifico!

By Bruce Kerr from Vandalia, IL on January 25, 2022 Music Background: Older rocker

I ordered this cab on New Year's Eve on a whim and it's perfect for my Orange Micro Dark head! The different logo doesn't bother me at all. It's so portable and loud with the Micro Dark head, and I just love it! The recessed handle is great as well. One last thing, the Fishman Loud box Performer cover fits pretty good and has some nice pockets for cords etc. I bought the Performer too and tried it when I couldn't locate a cover. A happy accident!

It Is a great 30W Cabinet Running With Orange TerrorStamp

By Mike Santana from East Rutherford, NJ on March 30, 2020

I'm not going to go into detail about the other customer review that was using a higher wattage amp because the other poster pretty much took care of that, but thats why i never go by just the rating number without reading them first because they get messed up from reviews like that...I got the 1x10 i initally ordered the Hughes 1x12 but it was out of stock, so I went with this one so with a 30W cabinet hooked up so the 20W Orange TerrorStamp Amp Pedal it sounds amazing i still would have liked the 1x12 only for when i got a bigger amp but it sounds amazing i love it. Sounds Great and is ridiculously small and compact, sounds good and as long as you don't put too much wattage into it (sorry I had to) you will not be upset, with all of these smaller "luncbox" amps and Pedal amps coming in lower wattage this is a must have...so either this one or the Hughes 1x12 same family just one step up

Nice Cabinet

By Jay on August 27, 2018

I picked this up at gearfest 2018 and its has been a great speaker cabinet. I planned on upgrading the speaker but it works well for me and sounds good. I mostly use it for later at night jamming with my peavey classic 20 head on lower power mode. I recommend this for any late night jammers like me.

Perfect

You're not going to get a better constructed cab. H&K does a fantastic job there. I've got the same 1x12 cab so that I can pair them with my Tubemeister 18. Serious clarity, fullness and punch.

Great cab for tubemeister 18!

By Ernie on November 5, 2015 Music Background: metal, rock, punk, christian

I was reading the negative review written about this cab. He was using his tubemeister 36, DUDE, if you have a 36w head...it won't sound right on a 30 watt cab! Common sense! Now i have this cab on my tubemeister 18, and the tone even at loud volumes is GREAT! The distortion is great as well, but also the clean tones. Its a 30w celestion speaker so its a keeper!

small cab

It's perfect. I needed a very small cab to match up with a Orange Dark Terror that could fit on the front seat of my car. It's a great match sound wise. Also it's very light.

nice form, compact size, but my speaker was bad

By GEO from L.A. to NYC and all points in between. on June 26, 2018 Music Background: Pro

I like the recessed handle, lightweight and compact form. The cab seems well-constructed.

But if that's a celestion speaker inside, something is very wrong with it. It sounded fizzy, tinny, harsh, thin. I've used MANY celestion speakers in my time and none were this horrible.

I checked it with two amps, one Fender and a Quilter. So it wasn't the amp or guitars. I also tried the exact same settings with another speaker cab and everything was OK. So according to that trouble-shooting method, it definitely was this speaker that sounded so awful.

Maybe I just a got a bad one. But I've decided to return it.

Was very disappointed

By Sweetwater Customer from Ventura, CA on June 17, 2015

I am reviewing this from a Grandmeister 36 head. I also own the TM112 cabinet, and it sounds amazing. This cabinet was not even close to the sound of the 112. Maybe OK for clean, but hard rock/metal it was not good. upgrade to the 112, you'll be much happier. I ended up sending it back and will buy a second 112.
