Oversampling Meter For Pro Tools!
TL MasterMeter is the first oversampling meter for Pro Tools and is designed for critical mixing and mastering applications. Clients in the music industry regularly demand the loudest possible mixes. In the process of achieving such a 'hot mix', unwanted distortion can be introduced. Intersample peaks that exceed 0db may play without distortion in a studio environment, but when the same mix is played through a consumer CD player, the digital to analog conversion and oversampling process can reproduce a distorted mix. TL MasterMeter uses the DSP power of Pro Tools to allow audio engineers to model potential intersample peaks. By oversampling the final audio mix in the same way as the converters in a CD player, TL MasterMeter enables engineers to identify potential peaks which may occur on playback. Regular and intersample peaks can be quickly compared over a period of time in order to produce a more accurate mix with less distortion when played by the end user. Features:
- Displays both regular and intersample peaks
- Features 2x, 4x and 8x oversampling DSP models
- Sample accurate historical peak list identifies peaks anywhere in a Pro Tools session
- Peak lists can be exported to the clipboard
- Displays timecode in either samples or minutes and seconds
- Programmable timecode offset
- Supports metering of sessions at up to 192 khz
- PACE iLok enabled
