Small Package - Big Sound
This is the first higher quazlity microphone that I have owned, and I am very pleased with it so far. You get a lot of bang for your buck with this one!
Mic of my dreams!
I've owned several high quality, expensive studio microphones over the years. For whatever reason this mic has always eluded me. It's the one I've always wanted, but always chose something else because of the sale, or an employees recommendation.
Trying it in person, I'm absolutely astonished by the clarity. The warmth. The brightness. It's everything a mic should be and more. Don't hesitate, make the purchase!
A Tiny Beast
Smaller than I expected, but in size only. The warmth and body these put on vocals without crazy highs or stuffy lows. Just a beast of a mic with or without a pre-amp. Though having one will only take its sound to the next level. If you are currently at the AKG214 tier of mics or lower and need an upgrade without emptying the bank these are a solid upgrade.
