Beyerdynamic TG I51 Dynamic Instrument Microphone Reviews
Perfect for everything from snare drums and electric guitar cabinets to brass sections, the Beyerdynamic TG 151 is a versatile dynamic instrument microphone designed to capture a wide variety of sources with excellent clarity and fidelity. The TG 151’s compact dimensions make it ideal for miking in tight quarters, such as a drum kit, while its rugged construction and powerful, balanced, and punchy sound and fast transient response make it a no-brainer for a wide range of studio and live applications. Its outstanding feedback suppression makes the TG 151 a huge problem-solver when close-miking on loud stages, as its cardioid polar pattern aggressively attenuates ambient noise, delivering high gain before feedback. The Beyerdynamic TG 151 has what it takes to be your go-to workhorse mic, session after session.

Snare Microphone with the best in class rejection
I'd been recording professionally for 20 years and this mic is the best snare mic because of the amazing cymbal rejection, other mics maybe sound brighter and tighter but the rejection is not even close. this mic has the same my money and time editing drums.
One of the best mic for guitar cabinet and Snare
I bought this mic after some good reviews on youtube. Many say that it replaces the indestructible Shure SM-57, but I have to say, its a good mic for snare and I have tried it on my guitar cabinet and sounds amazing. For the money, I have to say its worth it.
My Favorite Snare Microphone
I am OCD and spent a lot of money on snare mics this year. A lot of people like to use the SM57 on snare and a group of my audio engineer pals always try to beat it! I compared the TG I51 to a stock 57, modded crimson 57, Beyer 201, SE v7x, ATM23he, M80SH and many more. I would say the rejection is the best on the TG I51 compared to the rest. The TG I51 is built like a tank and has a nice focused punch compared to the stock 57 and beyer 201. So far this my favorite in the bunch.
Another one for Toms and guitar
So far, just tried on toms and electric guitar cab.
Excels on both. All the right frequencies shine through.
