Great sound and LOUD!
I bought 6 and am using the first one in my studio to perform virtual sound checks for bands. Very good clear sound, like my IEMs. They're so loud that I have to attenuate them quite a bit in the studio. Can't wait to put them on the stage to see their capabilities. I was using the Presonus ULT15s before and they were louder than musicians could stand, and these feel like they are louder!
Awesome!
Bought 4 of these. I have a wide variation of monitors in inventory. In comparison with EV ZLX 15, DB twin 12, these are absolutely great. They are semi sound spread, about 60 degrees, loaded with really smooth bottom end. I ran them at -18db. Plenty of power. X32 with DL32 cat 5 and running about -10 under on the monitor fader. Feed back is about nominal. You really have to drop the mic on the grill. Band loved due the more center sound direction.
Beautiful quality sound
these sound fantastic and are powerful and clear. a must have for any stage monitor needs -- really like the 15's
Overall great product!
As the title says, overall it's a great speaker. Out of the box the EQ is decent, little harsh at 10k and a little mud in the low mids, but I was able to take it out with the onboard EQ. I do wish it had a graphic EQ in addition to prametric to make it easier to fine-tune… One thing I HATE about it is the onboard limiter is VERY sensitive and will lock you out of being able to adjust the DSP with the slightest flutter of the db limit. You're then locked out until you power cycle. Plenty of headroom, your musicians will be asking you to bring the volume down often. For the price, you can't beat it, I will be buying more!
Sounds good for now...
They perform as advertised but 2 out of 3 have this loud "POP" when you switch them off which I can't imagine would age well. Sweetwater has replaced one but I'm still waiting for another.
