Works well
This is the second one of these I have installed on my Telecasters. A little tricky if your not used to soldering, the parts are top quality and the workmanship is great.
2nd Emerson kit installed
I have done this kit and the 4-way tele switch on an Ibanez Prestige Talman and a Fender GE Smith signature. Both guitars were top production models and these components raised their game significantly.
I want to give perspectives on the 2 poor reviews - one was a preference, he didn't like the setup but the setup worked as advertised. The other was an issue that I am certain Sweetwater and Emerson would have bent over backwards to correct.
Works Like a Champ
When I was looking to buy this product, I was a little apprehensive about it due to the initial ratings. However, don't be afraid to give it a try! I switched the control system in my MIM Telecaster with the Emerson Reverse layout and the sound clarity and tonality was night and day from the original. I give it a 4.5 instead of 5 stars only because the 3 way switch blade sits a little deeper that the telecaster control cavity (causing me to have to shave about 2 cm deeper in the cavity). Granted reverse switching may not be everyone's cup of tea, but it was a cool addition to my Tele that I would recommend folks try.

when I installed this unit,the reverse switch was not,so I had to turn around to get wired correctly,for the money next time this comes up I wiil buy parts from stew mac.

while i like the wiring it's self--- the reverse is proving to be difficult ---as i strum i accidentally hit the volume knob and turn it down. While i might just need to get used to playing this telecaster it is proving to be a pain right now.
