Orchestrated Legato Transitions
How would you like to have real legato transitions for chords? You got it. For Symphobia Colours: Orchestrator, ProjectSAM sampled major and minor chords with every possible transition in between. For instance, C Major and F Minor were recorded separately, as well as C Major changing into F Minor - and (of course) vice versa. The result? Totally realistic, evocative - and eminently musical. Two ensembles were recorded for Orchestrator - strings with choir and brass with woodwinds. And for these two arrangements, you get a complete set of legato chords. Composers here at Sweetwater are finding Symphobia Colours: Orchestrator a versatile and inspirational tool that will quickly become a staple of your orchestral palette.

Each instrument type in ProjectSAM Symphobia Colours: Orchestrator has a consistent region on the keyboard. In addition, major and minor chords are mapped to separate regions, allowing you to trigger and connect them using single keys. Chords are always mapped to the same octaves, so are low basses and high sustains. This consistency makes it extremely easy to layer different sounds together. The included Multis give you a variety of such combinations.
Bonus ensembles and alternatesIn addition to its legato chords, Symphobia Colours: Orchestrator gives you a number of other ensembles, including legato double basses performing with choir basses, violin with soprano sustains, and an assortment of staccato chords, as well as a bonus set of alternative chord orchestrations. In Orchestrator, you'll always find what you're looking for.
