TC-Helicon Switch-3 3 Button Footswitch Reviews

This is an outstanding pedal that will cover the basics for both the guitar and vocals. The quality of the effects is excellent as would be expected from TC Electronics and the harmonies are probably the best in the industry. This really took my duo to the next level.

I purchased the T C Helicon Switch-3 3 button footswitch from Sweet Water.
With the supply chain issues of today you mmight have to wait for a few weeks for T C Helicon to deliver it to Sweet Water, but it's worth the wait.
If you have a TC Helicon Performer VK you will need this foot switch.
When you press one of the buttons it will give you a new setting with each button.
It makes it easier to find the settings you look for on the Performer VK.
And should you need to set up an echo to come in and go back out at a certain point of the piece of music you're performing it gives you the ability to instantly do that, as well as instantly get you to the settings for your prefered harmonies.
The price for it is low enough to spend on.
A must have for the T C Helicon Performer VK.
Or on the T C Helicon Performer guitar version.

I just got this foot switch and I'm very happy with it. It works perfectly with my Voiceworksplus processor. It came with a three foot cable and the foot switches are silent, glad that I got this

I ordered the 3 switch because the 6 was not available. Well, I discovered the 3 is perfect for my needs, love the combo of the Helicon -V and the 3 switch. Set my presets and have 6 different effects at my feet.

I pair this up with the voicelive extreme 3 and I keep the VLEX 3 on the second tier if my keyboard stand and use the 3 switch pedal on the floor. You can assign it to practically any function on the VLEX 3. I have mine set to Track start/stop, preset up and preset down.

The TC- Helicon TC Electronic Switch 3 is a great addition to my TC bass rig. It is a very solid footswitch and as with everything else that TC Electronic makes it is top quality. Foots witch is like everything tc electronics makes super solid works great with my bg250 combo. The most impressive thing was the personal follow up phone call after to order and delivery. Not only did sweet water raise the customer service bar so high with their follow up and efficiency to make all other online purchases I have made look like I was buying from folks who don't care and just want the money. They were $20 cheaper than everyone else too sweet water has a customer for life!

This foot pedal meets all expectations. It's well-constructed and does what it is supposed to do.

If you already sing good, this will give you unlimited effects. The presents are simple and already built. Start selecting them and have fun 10 minutes after you unpack it. VERY user friendly and instructions are simple – for such a complex processor. Some things you need to know: Get the optional 3 button switch here. Item ID: Switch3 – you will want one, and a small mic cord (12 inches) to go from the mic to this box, then a long one for the PA system. My SM58 mic works fine with it. It does not need a separate microphone amp. It has a small know on it to adjust output which is very handy. Get one now as the price is dropping and there’s a new model (pre-ordering). I can’t for the life of me understand how a new model could be any better.
My 12 year old set mine up and was using all the features in 10 mins – watch the videos on it here while you await shipment. The whole family loves sign through this – it’s like magic. However, it’s also well suited for a good singer to simply add some gentle effects to their voice – all at your fingertips.
I’ve started relying on Sweetwater – better salesmen (that care); excellent stock; excellent packaging of materials so everything always arrives without damage. This is now my “go to” music supply house.

I use with my Nova System. I use it to change presets and the Nova System switches to turn effects on and off. Gives me the best of preset and pedalboard mode. Solid metal construction. Does what it is supposed to do.

As a Keyboardist My Hands don't get much free time. This is a great help with adding harmonies at the right times!

The Switch-3 makes my VoiceTouch Live even more wonderful.

Being able to switch harmony in and out, start and stop loops, and change the programing of each switch at will lets me play my guitar uninterrupted while getting the most out of my vocal processor.

I'm still exploring the default settings and the Switch-3 has already proven itself an absolute essential.

these are not only durable but multi-purpose.

I used this product 2 times now on a live gig. Very happy with all the voicing in it. Also very easy to set up and the foot switch works get for hands fee control .

This is used with a BG250 series amp. Good quality switch, adds to the great functionality of a incredible value amp.

Do not hesitate.

Works like a charm. Buttons are smooth. Only reason not a 5 star is it needs LEDs to show what's on or off

Pretty straight forward and works fine. My only complaint, albeit minor, is that the connecting cable is a bit short. Not a huge issue, though.

I use it for my Voiceworks Plus.....a little heavy in weight, but nice little unit. Thanks sweetwater!

Pretty simple device. Does exactly what its suppose to.

Only option I had to control the TC-Helicon Voicelive Play. I'm the drummer and the unit is not to be used too close to the drum set. Best results are near the lead amp. Pedal is a little large (trying to fit along with hi-hat pedal and bass pedal) but that also eliminates hitting the wrong buttons. Nice solid feel to it.

It does the job but its some how heavy and the switches could have been better

I was excited to get this but when I opened I noticed the chord they provided was entirely to short.

Connecting this to a TC Helicon Performer or anything similar then the less than one foot cable isn't going to be enough.

I'm not sure what the folks over at TC Helicon are thinking but they should deffinatly provide cables with a little bit of additional reach for on stage or even practice sessions.

I bought this switch pedal to use with my Roland BK7-M arranger. It gave acceptable service for years; however, as time has gone on, "switch bounce", has made it almost unusable. As a performing musician, I cannot always verify that the pedal has correctly changed my arranger settings, while I am performing (but I can hear it, when it the instrumentation or bank select does not occur because the switch bounced).

Overall, I still like the heavy-duty construction of the Switch-3, but I have switched to a battery powered device, with softer switches.

I am not in love with it it is a little big and seam to work a little slow, maybe I not being fair to it but I would rather the smaller peddle sorry guys

If you play solo this pedal makes alot of noise and you have to stomp on it real hard to push the buttons, TC-Helicon needs to make a soft touch pedal similar to the Digitech GNXFC

Yep, a boat anchor, unless you love staring at switches all night trying to figure out which was the last switch you hit and are any of the effects still turned on. No LED's means you better have a great memory 'cause there's nothing here to remind you of what you did or where you are at in the song. How hard/costly would it have been to turn on the LEDs on the VoiceLive just as the switches on the VL unit do? Or, how hard/costly would it have been to add LED's to the Switch-3 and grab power thru TRS cable between units? Can't use this unit on stage. Waste of time and money. Gonna have my friendly tech mod this with 3 on/off LEDs.
