The Perfect Boost “Super Sweet” Indeed!
This little peddle is so touch sensitive and warm it completely blew me away. It drives the sound of your guitar home adding the sweetest bit of warmth along the way. I'm considering buying a second one to go after my fuzz pedals. I have a tried many boost pedals , but this is the one. Absolutely perfect in my book. I spent hours just pacing my clean channel with llicks before ever touching the sliders on the side.
Clean boost
This is a good, clean to gritty, pedal that leaves the tone of your guitar intact. It's a bit 'hot' , I keep it at 9 o'clock or so, and pretty much leave it on. I suspect the Super Clean pedal might have suited me...maybe a future purchase. But I like how this makes my guitar a bit more 'lively 'and responsive. I play a strat with fender noiseless pu's through an old super reverb....for reference.
Super Sweet pedal
Iv tried a lot of lead boost pedals, But I really love this Super Sweet pedal, It has outside controls to control Bass and Treble! I used this to Boost my Saldana SLO 100 and it works great!!!
Just what my old Marshall needed!
I needed a pedal for a lead boost on my old Marshall JCM900. I researched many different boosts and came across the Super Sweet. I already own and adore a number of Xotic pedals and took a chance on it. The gamble paid off, big-time! It may be small (which I love) but it packs a wallop! The external dip-switches allow for easy tone shaping and the single gain knob lets you squeeze out as much or as little mustard as you'd like. I run it at 18V for a little more headroom, but it's just as good at 9V. I love it and highly recommend it! Shout out to my rep, Cody Kraus!
A True "Tone Sweetener"
An excellent buffer boost that has way more gain on tap than needed or expected. This pedal was more designed for weaker output pickups but I use it with a hot humbucker as an always on pedal and it livens up any pedals after it. The external dipswitches really help with shaping the sound and personally I found the mid and high boost to be the most appealing.
To sum up: if you need a transparent boost and or buffer on your board would highly recommend this one; however, don't expect to crank the gain unless you are using very weak output pickups.
Great little boost pedal with a ton of tone
First and foremost... this is a great little boost pedal. It adds the perfect amount of warmth and can help push your amp into that slightly broken up/clean tone that's great for leads or pushing other drive pedals. That being said, I use this pedal to boost up a couple weaker pedals that live in my signal chain and it's perfect for it. I am a bit of a boost pedal junkie (I have 3 in my rig in difference signal locations to push different tones), but this is becoming my fav to use for clean rhythm boosts mid chain.
Definitely give this little guy a shot
Oh yeah and make sure you ask for Kris... he's awesome and forever helpful
Absolutely fantastic
Great buffer, great boost. Enough sonic flavoring with the external (thank god, finally, Xotic) dip switches to make adjustments for taste and/or different instruments. Great as an always-on at beginning or end of the chain or as a solo boost. I love that the buffer is selectable if you don't need it. Really well thought out design. It sounds tremendous. I swapped out my beloved EP booster for this one (at least for now).
Mojo-filled Boost!
I needed something to push my Danelectro Roebuck (Mostortion clone) a bit. I discovered it also a ounds great just in front of a good tube amp too and can push it into some big beautiful grit and overdrive. The Super Sweet is full of character and so versatile. It sounds terrific with all my electrics. (ES-339, Les Paul, Strat and Tele) A unique and muscular little workhorse of a pedal.
Super Sweet
I use this as a post boost for leads, the dipswitches work really well to provide focus for the frequencies I want accented during solos.
This boost works great on its own too in front of a Fender amp or any clean amp to get you that nice little breakup.
Great Pedal!!
Super Sweet Indeed!
I have been using either overdrive or distortion pedals to boost my amp drive or pedal drive for many years....some work well, others, not so much......the Super Sweet is the first time I have tried a "boost pedal" to blast my solos out into the mix. And I must say it works better than ANYTHING I have ever used before! Love the sound of the pedal...clean but "not clean".....loud, with GREAT sustain...adds to the core sound better than any OD or distortion box.....I won't go back...done looking........
Nice
It"s all in the title. Super sweet. Nice boost and super easy operation.
