I have been buying gear from Ted Hunter for over 20 years. I just upgraded to the latest version of Pro tools along with a Mac Studio and a few other goodies, including some UA plugins. The has been the best upgrade I've done in years. It all came seamlessly set up, and all I had to do was learn how best to use the new stuff. What if the Beatles could have ordered stuff from Ted and Sweetwater!! Seriously I appreciate you being there and being willing to help an old man realize a couple of dreams.

Very Easy
This is very easy to use. Very happy with my purchase.
Plug & Play!
Easy Peasy! Plugged direct into my Mac mini and it was screaming fast, (but really no screaming) and quiet. This even played my homegrown CD'S. Haven't tested this with a 3.0 hub. It does not work with even a great quality 2.0. Nothing in the specs to specify but perhaps I missed it. Anyway, I recommend using it direct into your machine. Its fabulous, thin, and sleek! It was a perfect compliment to my compact unit.

Works great with my Macbook Pro!
I was using another brand CD/DVD drive with my Macbook Pro and I was having all sorts of problems. It worked with PC based laptops but not my Mac. The Apple USB SuperDrive works perfectly! I guess its a compatibility issue? The drive is very fast and quiet. Its a little pricey but worth it!

Works very quickly transferring from and to disks. Very quiet and extremely portable.

Plays anything almost and has immediate results. Doesn't freeze up like an ordinary dvd player. Burn cd's in seconds...

I love it because it does what was said . One thing i wish it has more option for ejecting for example pressing a button on its side besides doing the eject from the computer. After all its quiet . I enjoy it ! Yes i will recommend it

Love it! It is fast, simple and makes the whole music making process easier and streamlined.
Does the job
This works absolutely fine, my only slight problem with it is it does not have a remote eject button. Other than that, does what it's supposed to, does it very well.

I was disappointed that my new Imac didn't have a super drive, but this usb drive for not too much money took care of that problem.
It works just as it should.
Must Have iMac Accessory
Does exactly what it is supposed to do and in my opinion, a necessity for the iMac. Only complaint I have is the lack of an eject button. It has to be ejected using the computer. No set up involved other than plugging in the USB cable and it's moderately quiet compared to other DVD/CD drives I've had.
CD player for Mac pro
This device is not good. The player can't be read by the mac after a few uses then the cd gets stuck inside.i don't recommend this
Did not work straight out of the box. Doesn't recognize ANY CD or DVD… Returning and looks like won't have a optical drive for my computer.
