Absurdly good pre/DI pedal!

By Sweetwater Customer

This pedal has a plethora of tone-shaping capabilities, and does so at a staggeringly affordable price. It's a no-brainer if you need (or even want) a new pre/DI pedal for bass. The quality of the build is very good, and even is backed by a 3-year warranty by Mesa. I have no doubt this will hold up to lots of use, and will sound great doing so.

The single complaint I have seen is that the knobs turn a little easily. They aren't free rotating, but they aren't very stiff either. To me they feel like a good middle of the road resistance, and can be modified easily with some o-rings if you need a stiffer feel.

One more note. If you have never used a HPF (hi pass filter) with your rig, this one has a variable HPF built in. That is such an amazing feature to have when playing live. It can help to reduce mud from low-end natural frequencies, without feeling like you are losing any bass. It also can assist in preserving your speakers from over-excursion, and ultimately let you play louder.

Thank you Mesa and Andy for this exceptional pre/DI!
