Perfect Case -- Can't wait to get a second!

By Hunter from Austin, TX

This case is heavy when fully loaded, but to be expected, and the support brackets on the side prevent some modules from fitting flush with the edges of the case. I've only noticed that with the ES-9, but the gap is small and probably helps with heat dissipation.

Other than that, this case is perfect. Plenty of power, no signal noise, solid build, and it looks great. I've never understood the complaints about sliding nuts and actually prefer the flexibility. Looking forward to buying a second one soon!

So good, I have two

By Ian from Iowa
Music Background: hobbyist

I like this case so much that I have two of them. I bought my first one about a year ago when I first got into eurorack, and then I bought a second one a couple months ago when I needed more room for modules. These cases are well made and very sturdy. They look great. Although they get a little heavy when full of modules. I added labels to my cases and their lids to make sure I always pair the correct lid with the correct case, since the fit is a little different between the two. So far I've only used this at home, I haven't taken them out anywhere. I love being able to seal up the case tight due to having two very curious cats. My only (small) gripe about the case is that the screws that come with it (thread size 4-40 according to Pittsburgh Modular's website) are not one of the typical eurorack screw sizes, which eliminates compatibility with some common eurorack accessories. That minor quibble with the screw size is not a dealbreaker for me. I could see myself buying another one of these cases in the future. I don't have an issue with the sliding nuts like some of the other reviewers.

Good case

By Ian from VA

Really solid case. Pretty heavy (compared to my erica synths travel case) so the rubber feet keep it from moving around well. More than enough power for the hp. My only complaint is the m4 sliding nuts...but I just ordered 120 hp m3 threaded rail inserts and was super easy to swap out. 120hp M3 inserts fit perfectly into the rails the case comes with. Didn't even have to take the assembly out completely to swap them(6 screws hold the rail assembly; take out 4, loosen 2). Very pleased with this case.

Buying my 3rd

By Sean H. from Cleveland, OH
Music Background: International Dark Ambient Super Star

Bought my 1st one 3 years ago, now buying a 3rd! It is road worthy, no problems with any noise from the power, it just works. The build quality is fantastic, My 360s have taken their fase share of abius and and still in perfect shape! The only con I can think of are the slid nuts. Just don't like 'em. If you need a lot room, and a lot of power, get this case!

This case is awesome

By John

If you"re thinking about getting this case, just buy it and be done with it. Tons of power, beautiful construction, tons of space. It has made my modular synth a thing of beauty. I was looking at this for a long time and even took half measures and bought smaller cases in the meantime. I wish I had just bought this to begin with. This case is the nicest one I"ve ever owned and would easily recommend it to anyone

Excellent

By Sweetwater Customer

I previously had a move 208 case that I grew out of but liked it very well. The Structure 360 is a great upgrade with plenty of room and power!

Monster Case!

By Shawn H. from Portland, OR
Music Background: Audio engineer / Electronic Music Artist

I was looking at more expensive cases, but this ended up having more power for the more modern digital power hogs I use in my setup, and, the power is dead quiet for my analog moduals, kind of ironic when you hear the music I make, but when it's quiet, I must be clean!
Looks, Looks aren't everything, and this thing is made to take the brunt of gigging and touring, but dang! It is beautiful!
Well built! I play out a lot! Like every week at times, all over the NW and West Coast, this thing takes a beating, but has all most no sign or wear or tear!
Lots of room, I was playing out with two 6U 84hp cases, but this allowed me to just use one case, 120ph per row at 3 rows(9U)! You can fit everything you need and then some!
And it fits nicely into a On-Stage Acoustic guitar stand, so it can be upright and tilled back.

My only complaints are:
It's heavy, but so what, It's not a guitar.
It beautiful, I just get grumpy when it does get a scratch on it.
SLIDE NUTS! WHY? WHY? WHY?!!!! Sorry, I just hate slide nuts, I know a lot a people like them.
The handle worries me, given the weight of the case fully loaded like mine is, it hasn't failed yet, and it may never, or so I hope.

Bottom line!
It's a few $100 cheaper than it's competitors, it is really really well built! Looks amazing! Perfect for beginners to grow into, or seasoned pros.

Outstanding case

By Martin D. from New York, NY

I consolidated a Move 208 and a Move 104 into this Structure 360. I’ve had this case for a few weeks and am roundly impressed with it. In my experience so far, it performs exactly as advertised: lots of quiet clean grounded power in a nicely-built, solid enclosure. The rails have all performed flawlessly for me. If I have a complaint, it’s just that there are no power bus connectors near the ends of the case, making module swaps out at the ends a chore, and potentially making some ribbon cables a stretch.
