I've been dealing with Sweet- water for years and Have always had great service and great quality products. I ordered the Players plus
Fender Stratocaster and had some issues with the first guitar I received.I called my salesperson Stephan Gray and Stephen got right on it.Talked to him about the problems I had and he told me just return the guitar if I wasn't happy with it and he would send me out a brand new one that I could choose off the web site.The second guitar was what I expected it to be. Came in great condition and set up perfectly. It is truly a great sounding,great playing guitar. It exceeded my expectations. I could not be happier with the service Stephen Gray gave me! I have been doing this for a long time and I have owned MANY Strats. The first one was in 1968 I have to say this is as good as any I have owned. I did a personal setup and Had it gone over by Nashville friends. I have several amps and a decent studio. Any way you work it The thing is fine as Frog's hair. Better balance and tuning stability and noiseless which is as good as regular single coils. Then you have to factor in the sweetwater difference. Extra warranty and fantastic service. Whats not to love?

Absolute stunner of a guitar. You're gonna find yourself at ends between playing it and staring at it. Speaking of playing it... wow. I had plans to take it to a luthier for touch ups but totally unnecessary. The only issue I have with it are some minor aesthetic flaws on the body where the neck meets. I only noticed it because well... I couldn't stop staring at it.

First of all… this guitar is all around better than a player series. No sharp frets, the neck feels incredible,locking tuners and no trash player series branch. Now the pickups… I'm sure the noiseless would take something small away from you if you're trying to sound exactly like Stevie ray vaughn. I absolutely love these pickups. They actually bring out the characters of the strat more in my opinion.

This Strat is nice, set up by Sweetwater, absolutely no flaws, looks and plays well, Big thanks to my sales engineer, Mr. James Masterson who is always helpful and knowledgeable in any sale or questions concerning my purchase, I'm very happy with my purchase!

I have been completely satisfied with my new Fender Player Plus Stratocaster. It sounds great, and feels great. Setup was really good right out of the box. I was considering an American Professional II, but decided to go with this instead and have no regrets. I have other Strats including a Clapton artist series, and this Strat sounds and feels every bit as good.

Title says it all. Best guitar I've ever owned in my life. Love the pickups and that I can get totally clean tone with great clarity. Love the push/pull tone knob because I feel like you can make this sound like multiple different guitars and get the sounds you need out of this one alone. All that being said and the best aspect of the guitar is still the neck. Flat out without question the most comfortable neck I've ever played. If I could get the Player Plus quality neck and some vintage pickups for my Classic Player Special Jazzmaster it would be my all time favorite guitar. Can't say enough about this strat. You're getting a serious step up in quality from the usual guitars you encounter at this price point. You won't be disappointed.

I've been looking at every Strat SweetWater has to offer, I thought I'd found the one, then I saw the 12 radius. Nope can't do it. I play a lot of bar chords and anything above 9.5 is out for me. I'm 61 now and these old fingers and hands need all the help they can get. All that said I think I'm gonna try the Vintera 50's modified. Btw it will go though the Plek machine as this is the finest machine made for guitar fret level and setup, Imo. My rating is due to the awesome staff at SW.

This is my third one in recent years, but this is now THE ONE. Love the Modern "C" Player Plus neck...smooth and feels great. The noiseless pickups sound like classic strat to me (without the hum). The upgraded bridge on this Player Plus just feels better, especially on the palm. Locking tuners are a fantastic addition. An added treat is the Push-pull Tone knob to get a couple extra very distinct sounds. I had seen three different colors of the Player Plus in person and that creamy sparkling pearl is just amazing, especially against the tortoise pickguard. I'm thrilled with this one!

This guitar...it's not so much a "thing" you write a review about as it is an "experience". I have played guitar for 31 years this year and I would say I have spent the majority of it playing cheaper guitars. This is definitely the most expensive guitar I have ever bought by a long shot.

I'll do my best to make an analogy of my experience.

If you spent 31 years of your life driving an average car around but you perfected it and tweaked it and made that average thing work wonders, that's where I am at with those $300-600 guitars. Now imagine you are handed the keys to an F-1 Racecar. You know what to do with it, you know how to drive it, but it's so much more "car" than you have ever been used to. You don't have to hit the gas so hard, you don't have to take turns like you used to. Everything is maxed out and performs at peak precision so well that all of your skills get turned on their head because you aren't doing the majority of the work you are used to any longer.

This guitar is playing me as much as I am playing it. I am able to relax now and allow my skills to let themselves breathe instead of having to overcompensate for lesser hardware. The sounds it allows to come forth, the feel of the neck, the color (a little bit more of the vintage yellowing feel to it than even the pictures really show which is extremely lovely) the body, they are all a 5/5 with a chef's kiss behind it.

The people of Sweetwater did a wonderful job packaging everything very well and safely, there was absolutely nothing wrong with it, the product came 1000% as advertised. Looking forward to a long and healthy relationship with them.

Just got this beautiful guitar and can't put it down it feels great in my hands, and sounds like a chorus of angels. I am sooo happy with my new purchase! There is nothing I need to do to it to make it better! Thank you Nick Nevins for helping out you are the best! Get this guitar you won't regret doing it.

The photos don't do this guitar justice. The Olympic Pearl finish is absolutely stunning in person. Every time I walk into the room I have to pause and admire it.

The noiseless pickups are indeed noiseless and have that classic Strat sparkle. I feel they add a touch of twang on certain notes, similar to a Tele, but that may just be the strings that came with the guitar (I haven't put on new ones yet).

I deducted a half-star because while it does play buttery-smooth, I'm not as much of a fan of the 12" radius fretboard compared to the 9.5" found in the Player and American Strats (I tried a Player in Tidepool blue before switching to this model). I'm not sure why Fender chose to put the 12" on this model alone. Not a dealbreaker though, like I said, it still plays wonderfully!
