my new workhorse
feels great in my hands. love the various tones i get from it. having a humbucker for the bridge pickup is a whole new level in itself - it just widened my vocabulary.
Great Guitar
I bought this because I thought the color was cool, and because my other Strats are all single coils. I figured for the money I could try the HSS combination and If I didn't like it, no big loss. Well guess what ... Never would I ever have expected this guitar to be as excellent as it is! It easily stands up to my American Elite and Pro! The Humbucker screams! The single coils are all you expect them to be! I was skeptical of the gloss finish on the fret board, but changed my mind as I was sliding up and down with minimal friction. This guitar surpassed my every expectation! My Sweetwater Sales Engineer Anthony Longano, as usual, made this a great overall experience. Even though I asked for locking tuners to be installed, I still got the guitar in two days! It was ready to play right out of the box! Yeah, no gig bag - but I prefer hardshell cases anyway. Picked up a Fender Tweed case...
Best birthday ever
I bought this for myself for my 21st birthday. I've had it for a couple days and I love it! The versatility is nice and it has great tones. I feel like it was made for me. Thank you sweetwater you guys are the best.
Every bit as good as a USA.
Everything I expected it to be. Plays effortlessly, wide range of tone,and a neck as fast as a shark. Every bit as good as the Fender USA. The humbucker is what sold me. I see no excuse for a humbucker upgrade. My first brand new guitar I've decided to keep in 40 years.
Had to dock a star for no case. Not even a gig bag. C'mon Fender! Get your act together as far as that's concerned! Five stars for Sweetwater. Their service and communication for the customer is second to none.
