Fender Nile Rodgers Hitmaker Stratocaster Electric Guitar - Olympic White Reviews

Solidbody Electric Guitar with Alder Body, Maple Fingerboard, Maple Neck, Hardtail Bridge, and 3 Single-coil Pickups - Olympic White

Daft Punk, Chic, David Bowie, Madonna, Diana Ross, Duran Duran. What do these artists have in common? A single Strat, appropriately dubbed the Hitmaker, expertly played by Nile Rodgers on some of their iconic hits. If you’d like to capture some of the Hitmaker’s legendary rhythm quack, Fender has replicated the original to create the Nile Rodgers Hitmaker Stratocaster. The Hitmaker features a 1960-style alder body that differs from a traditional Strat, with greater contours and a slightly smaller size — which, according to Nile (and Cory Wong!), improves the tone. Paired with this body is a 1-piece maple neck that sports a comfortable ’59 profile, loaded with 9.5-inch radius and medium-jumbo frets to facilitate Nile’s funky rhythm chops. A trio of Hitmaker single-coil Strat pickups are voiced to replicate all the glassy quack and bell-like tone of the original Hitmaker Strat. Finally, just like Nile’s original guitar, this guitar boasts a rock-solid hardtail bridge.

What a Dream Guitar

By charles gimble from Washington, UT. on January 27, 2023 Music Background: Been playing since I was 10. I learned on my dad's 1951 Martin Acoustic. Which I still own.

Just received my Nile Rodgers Signature Stratacaster yesterday. The first thing you notice is what a beautiful guitar this is. The pickups are outstanding, if you like the Fender sound. I own 3 strats and 3 tele's. I played it through my 65 reissue twin reverb. I love the control knobs, and the Locking tuners are good looking and well built. It plays real easy and the neck is super thin. This is a keeper, believe me. I had it PLEKed which I would advise anyone buying a new guitar. I returned a Brent Mason Signature Telecaster. I thought I would love it, but was dissatisfied with the pickups, and the control knobs. Unfortunately I had it PLEKed also. Of course I lost the $299.00 I paid for that service, but good ole
Sweetwater took care of my return and I now have an outstanding Nile Rodgers Signature beautiful guitar.

Fender hits a home run

By Lee from Maple Valley WA on January 6, 2023 Music Background: Veteran player

I'm ecstatic about my new Nile Rodgers signature strat.
It has a wide sonic palette and allure, sure to please Fender aficionados.
I grew up developing an affinity for Motown soul and funk genres.
This beautifully crafted instrument is voiced to nail the empirical
Chic jangle and chime.
It's definitely in a league of its own. I highly recommend this
gem, it's one of my favorite single coil guitars.
