Fender Tom DeLonge Stratocaster Electric Guitar - Surf Green Reviews
Over 20 years ago, Fender teamed with Tom DeLonge to produce a signature series of now much-sought-after single-pickup Strats. A few bands and Blink-182 reunions later, Fender is proud to (re)launch the Fender Tom DeLonge Stratocaster: that very same guitar and the instrument that defined much of Blink-182’s most revered riffs. From the single volume knob to the alder body’s string-through hardtail bridge, every facet of the Fender Tom DeLonge Stratocaster is primed to take the most exuberant down-stroked power-chord beatings without breaking a sweat. And just like the original, the Fender Tom DeLonge Stratocaster comes complete with a single high-power Seymour Duncan Invader SH-8 pickup — a no-brainer for the Blink-182-style pop-punk tone but also more than versatile enough to cover the subtler, effect-laden textures of Tom’s later works. Lastly, the Fender Tom DeLonge Stratocaster comes complete with all the small things that made the original such a unique instrument, including several high-energy pastel finishes such as Surf Green, Daphane Blue, Garffiti Yellow, and Black. We can't forget to mention that this pop-punk guitar has a sparkling pearloid pickguard and a large ’70s-style headstock atop the rosewood-capped maple neck.

Gosh, I love this thing!!!
Searching for a Tom DeLonge Strat after Tom re-joined Blink back in October 2022, I actually became impatient. I wanted to bottle the blink signature sounds so badly, so when I saw these, I pounced on it… and oh boy, am I glad I did!! it looks rad, and more importantly, plays like a dream!
Mine was perfect.
Love this guitar.
Mine was fine!
Total trans parity, I am a big stupid Tom Delonge fan. And a big stupid Sweetwater fan. The guitar plays phenomenally, I'm pretty lucky no qc issues for me. But it does everything you'd want a punk rock guitar to do, and then some.
Tom's Iconic Strat
It's simple and perfect. The surf green finish is beautiful, the Seymour Duncan Invader sounds amazing overdriven, and the one I got plays even better than my American Professional II. More than satisfied!
My first fender
This guitar is great. I haven't had a guitar that play so clean without distortion and also plays so easily. It's a simple bear bones guitar. Would definitely buy another fender based on just how this one plays
Tom Delonge strat
I bought this and the black one. Both came flawless! I'm positive there are more perfect ones then bad ones and your far more likely to see unhappy people post a review over a happy customer. So don't let that change your mind. If your on the fence or have always wanted this guitar, even just for the nostalgia, BUY IT!! You won't be sorry. It's a beautiful guitar that sounds and plays fantastic!!
Great guitar,
First off all shoutout to my sales engineer getting this into my hands 2 days after ordering. The guitar plays and sounds great. The surf green Color is beatiful, The only reason this is getting 4 stars instead of 5 is because When it arrived the fingerboard was unusually dry for a new guitar. Its not too big of an issue to fix but for the price i think this should not be a problem.
I Loved this guitar in my youth. Sadly though this is just a more expensive worse version of that.
I was ecstatic to see that they brought this guitar back as I had two of them in my youth but with the prices of the original ones I wasn't going to buy one anytime soon. I'll admit the neck on this guitar was one of the best I've played for a guitar in this price range. The fit and finish on the neck was pretty impressive for what it is and I love the bridge saddles. Sadly thought thats where the good stops and the bad begins. The body had finish cracks and scuffs / swirl marks from what looking like the polishing process. The bottom strap button was mounted crooked and the Low E on the nut was not cut correctly and then it appeared that they tried to reposition the nut after the glue had started to dry and damaged the nut and the neck. I had such high hopes for this guitar but like most recent fenders I was let down and disappointed.
