Fender Tom DeLonge Stratocaster Electric Guitar - Black Reviews
Over 20 years ago, Fender teamed with Tom DeLonge to produce a signature series of now much-sought-after single-pickup Strats. A few bands and Blink-182 reunions later, Fender is proud to (re)launch the Fender Tom DeLonge Stratocaster: that very same guitar and the instrument that defined much of Blink-182’s most revered riffs. From the single volume knob to the alder body’s string-through hardtail bridge, every facet of the Fender Tom DeLonge Stratocaster is primed to take the most exuberant down-stroked power-chord beatings without breaking a sweat. And just like the original, the Fender Tom DeLonge Stratocaster comes complete with a single high-power Seymour Duncan Invader SH-8 pickup — a no-brainer for the Blink-182-style pop-punk tone but also more than versatile enough to cover the subtler, effect-laden textures of Tom’s later works. Lastly, the Fender Tom DeLonge Stratocaster comes complete with all the small things that made the original such a unique instrument, including several high-energy pastel finishes such as Surf Green, Daphane Blue, Garffiti Yellow, and Black. We can't forget to mention that this pop-punk guitar has a sparkling pearloid pickguard and a large ’70s-style headstock atop the rosewood-capped maple neck.

Always wanted one
guitar turned out spectacular. it made more sense to purchase this one new than to try to find one of the discontinued ones for almost twice the cost. I've read a bunch of peoples reviews on the quality of this guitar and was almost turned off, but mine was perfect. specifically the string spacing issues people complained about. Mine was perfect thankfully. great sounding guitar and I generally don't love the feel of strat necks but this one has a little chunk feel to it.
Awesome throwback!
I bought this as a tribute to my original TD guitar and MH bass that I owned and played in high school. My expectations were kind of uneasy at first with there being some QC issues out there but I called Sweetwater when I ordered and they picked a perfect one. Tone and feel and amazing. It's a great guitar and for the money if you are a Tom Delonge or Blink 182 fan, I would recommend!
Tom Delonge strat
I was a little nervous about receiving these guitars after hearing all the negative reviews on social media. I wanted this guitar for about 20 years now and pulled the trigger. I couldn't be more happy!! Flawless in every way and I especially love the way the neck feels and plays. And that goes for both the black and surf green ones that I got. I'm sure there are far more perfect ones out there then bad ones and people are more likely to complain then praise. My advice is if your on the fence or have wanted one for a long time, BUY IT AND ENJOY IT!!
BUYER BEWARE!! The fretboard...
Recently just picked this up and was stoked that they brought back this guitar. Until I started looking closer at it and found out the "inlays" on the fretboard are just painted on dots. How do I know? You can tell they arent perfect circles. The fretboard feels like cheap particle board. What the heck happened here...?
Now, I own an original Squier DeLonge strat from '03 and the fretboard on that is way better AND has actual
pearloid inlays! And it was only $ back in the day!!
So tell me why, for $, we can't get a good, normal Fender fretboard??
I'm still trying to be excited about this, because it seems great otherwise. But for the price and them taking the cheap route on the neck...it's kind of hard to be.
