Stevie Ray Vaughan has influenced countless guitarists — John Mayer, Chris Duarte, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, and Mike McCready, to name but a few. His impact on popular music places him alongside Clapton, Beck, and Hendrix in the pantheon of legendary guitarists. Inspired by Stevie’s famous “Number One” Strat, the Fender Custom Shop Stevie Ray Vaughan Signature Stratocaster features a thick, Oval C-shaped neck, a 12”-radius fingerboard with 21 jumbo frets, three Texas Special single-coil pickups, a reversed tremolo, and an SRV-emblazoned pickguard. A Relic’d nitrocellulose lacquer finish and eye-catching gold hardware complete the package. The SRV Signature Strat comes with a deluxe hardshell case, strap, and certificate of authenticity.

Nothing like it!
The experience is a bit transcending holding this guitar....The feel of the neck, the sound and just overall playability is just awesome. If you are a SRV follower, this guitar is a great tribute to him.....Just as the other review, a little reverb and wow! It is worth the wait!
Fender SRV Relic
Fender did a nice job on this custom shop version. The relic process on the guitar I received was very nicely done. The setup was excellent thanks to the Sweetwater Team. The pickups sound great, very clear and articulate. Add a touch of reverb on your amp and instant SRV. If I could change one cosmetic thing on this guitar, I would suggest Fender install a set of Fender deluxe sealed gold tuning machine with pearl buttons. This would give it a closer look to the original SRV #1 and also distinguish it from the current Custom Shop NOS SRV model. (I own both). Unless you are willing to shell out close to 50K for the initial Fender Custom Shop Stevie Ray Vaughan Number One, this is a very nice alternative. As always, a big shout out to my Sweetwater guy Aaron Smith. This guy is the best of the best !
