Fender Custom Shop GT11 Journeyman Relic Stratocaster - Sonic Blue - Sweetwater Exclusive Reviews
Over the long and iconic history of Fender Custom Shop, thousands of Stratocaster variations have been produced. None are like this one. The GT11 starts with a lightweight, roasted alder body and a roasted AAA flamed maple neck for a very open and balanced tone. With the Sweetwater-exclusive 11"-radius fingerboard, the GT11 provides a playing surface that inspires and delivers more speed and precision. Add in three custom-wound Sweet ’64 pickups with the Half Blender switching system and Fat ’50s wiring, and you’ve got a premium guitar for any style of music. Topping off the feature-laden GT11 is an updated tremolo with improved string spacing and vintage staggered pole tuning machines. The Journeyman Relic body, neck, and hardware give the GT11 Stratocaster a vintage, worn-in look and feel with precision performance.

Killer guitar, even better service!
Putting aside the guitar itself which is fantastic, Michael Saulnier is just absolutely terrific. I've know bought 3 custom guitars from him - he makes talking about music and interacting with Sweetwater as joyous as you'd ever hope it to be. Thanks for bringing a smile, Mike, and for all your help!
It is a piece of art.
When I opened the case, it was just WOW!! The neck is not only beautiful but super comfortable. Fret work is on point; Pickups sound incredible balanced and crispy. I can't put it down.
It's all true!
I love this guitar and on top of everything else the intonation is impeccable. Thanks Kenny!

This guitar is amazing! I reach for it all the time when I get home. The neck feels perfect and I love the flatter 11-inch radius fretboard! The pickup blend is a lot of fun to play with and the pickups sound amazing. As always my SweetWater sales Engineer Evan Mehre was great to work with and I look forward to my next guitar purchase from him.
