Mono-compatible Stereo-field Processor/Mono-to-stereo Emulation Plug-in - Mac/PC VST, AU

Over the years, many sound designers and mix engineers have come to Sweetwater looking for an easy way to sit mono tracks in a stereo mix. NuGen Audio's Stereoizer plug-in is the perfect tool for the job. This incredibly sophisticated stereo-field manipulation plug-in uses advanced psychoacoustic processing to spread out mono sounds into the stereo mix, without adding reverb or creating phase problems. It's also a great tool for widening your stereo tracks, defining your center mix, and all sorts of other spatial manipulation. Probably the Best Stereo Plugin

By New Loops on March 14, 2019 Music Background: Sound Designer

I've tried quite a few stereo wideners and most are not mono compatible and mess up the mono signal. However, this one does not mess up mono. The amount of control is good. I'm using this plugin on most tracks and buses that need a wider sound.

Really loads of fun and possibilities

By Ryan from Earth on September 2, 2018 Music Background: lots o' stuff

So I'm not entirely crazy about plugins, but this stereoizer plugin from Nugen Audio has proven to be quite the catch insofar as stereo width image expansion/contraction are concerned. I'm a junkie when it comes to messing with stereo width, mid/side processing, anything that changes the image. It takes a slight learning curve but in no time you'll be making your own presets. Just don't forget the rest of your work i.e. your entire workflow (you know the reason why you're recording!) because you can literally spend like so much time messing around with this plugin....you may get lost in all the details. Sure I'd go bananas if they made an analog processor that did the same thing but the fact is they don't as far as I know therefore this is about as good as it gets. Again, reiterate, please someone make an analog processor that does the same thing.
