Functional and durable console
Used for five years in mid sized live music venue with 24 fixtures. Easy to use and durable. No complaints.
Great board
We upgraded from a cheap Amazon board and have been extremely satisfied with this unit. It is very user friendly, so that is a huge plus if you need volunteers to run it. The set up wizard is helpful, but someone with experience in lighting can do a manual set up without much trouble. For a church of 500, this is a great, long-term investment.
Ehhhh It's alright
I broke a knob off in the first use, and i wasn't being rough with it, i was in a cue to cue session with a director, from dallas childrens theater and snap. Also when you delete cues, the whole cue list slides up an renumbers half of the cue list, which is a no go for anyone who wants to use the board for theater application.
Blacks out unexpectedly
I bought this light board brand new a few years ago for use at a theater, at the recommendation of a pro sound and lighting shop in my city. While it works well if you just need to turn the lights on, it does not work well if you are programming individual light cues over a certain amount (30 cues seems to be the threshold). It gets overwhelmed, and will black out unexpectedly in the middle of your shows. Being a theater on a budget, we have been unable to replace it and have had to work around it. Do not purchase if you need a board that can handle a large amount of cues!
