The Godin Stadium HT provides plenty of tonal versatility in a vintage-style package. It all begins with a body made from Canadian basswood. It's given comfortable contours and mated with a 22-fret maple neck. The neck is carved into a comfortable D-shaped profile that feels comfortable for players of all kinds. Once the body is assembled, a pair of Godin single-coil pickups are installed — GS-3 in the neck and Custom Cajun in the bridge. The neck pickup delivers warm, rounded tones while the bridge produces a bright and spanky character. Together with the 3-way switch, these pickups can produce tones that cover all genres. Godin Stadium HT is astounding!
There is no doubt that Sweetwater properly inspected my new guitar. It came with a nice gig bag and the 55 point inspection cards as shown in the photos. Note: the cigar smoking dog did not come with the guitar but is in fact a very happy me.
1. Received 2 days ahead of shipping estimate.
2. Shipping packaging was in perfect shape and well protected.
3. I did allow the suggested 24 hours to acclimatize before opening.
4. The guitar was in perfect condition and totally as expected based on the pictures.
5. The initial setup was spot on and to my liking.
6. The guitar was in tune and only a minimal tweak on the high E was needed.
7. After 35 days in my man cave I can say that it holds tuning very well.
8. The 12" radius neck is a dream to play.
9. The frets are nicely dressed at the fret board ends and don't grab my fingers. Very nice!
10. The volume, tone and 3 way switch are accurate and noise free.
11. I am very happy with the Godin GS3M (neck) and Custom Cajon (bridge) single coil pickups which sound wonderful.
I was unable to try this guitar first since my local store does not stock them so I had to rely on YouTube reviews. I've owned a couple other name brand guitars made in Mexico in the under $1k price range in the past and they were fine but the fret dressing was always a weak spot in my opinion. So I rolled the dice with Godin and as you can probably tell I am very happy with the product I received!

I can't say how much I love this guitar. This is awesome. It has such clarity and a lot of twang. At the price they're asking, you NEED to buy one.
Tremendous value.
As with all Godin guitars, this is a great value. Where this guitar is a little different than other Godins I have played is in the electronics. The pups in this one are rock solid. Give excellent twang. It has great variations in all the positions.
