I love Line 6
I got two of these amps to use in my teaching studio. Every student that had plugged in has had positive comments on them. I own other Line 6 products and I have never been disappointed. A lot of Bang for your Buck!
A good purchase
I have to admit this line 6 is a lot better than the other line 6 I had years ago.. they made this one a little better.. much more enjoyable to play... I'm glad I chose sweetwater for this product..

My 1st amp, works great sounds awesome. the app connects to my android phone with a otg usb that connects to amp gives multiple extra sounds effects easy to use wonderful practice amp
Easy to use
I like having a bunch of effects without having to spend a bunch of money on pedals it's a small size just got it more interested in kinda easy stuff and could use it right away and have fun big improvement over the fender 10g frontman I bought at Goodwill

This mini Amp is really Awesome, best cost/benefist relationship; software works great with iOs and Os, I tested it with Logic Pro, Garage band (Ipad/Iphone) and works really good. I recommended 100%

I typically record clean into a computer and use simulated amps after the recording for flexibility. The issue in doing that is input latency. So I use a direct box and record a clean line level into the computer while then splitting to the Spider. It sounds amazing! I wouldn't use the actual tones in the Spider in a recording or anything (although I don't see why one couldn't) but for just over $... You cant get anything close to this little monster. I use it everyday.
Sweet Amp
This is small and very portable but packs a punch. Line 6 did aka amazing job with this amp. The possibilities for different sound and sound combinations are endless. Love it. Also, will buy everything I need music related from sweetwater, you guys rock!
Great little practice amp.
I travel much and this is a great little amp to lug around. Simple and effective and surprisingly loud, well louder than I thought it would be. Sounds pretty good also.

Great purchase!
To be such a peewee little amp, this thing is powerful and versatile! By itself, it has an impressive range of sounds. When you plug it in and edit the sound using the free software, the range of sounds becomes seemingly endless! It might only be a 20 watter, but that's enough to get the cops called on you. Having to track down an Android OTG adapter was a slight annoyance. Also that blinking light on the front is annoying. I had to cover mine with some blue tape. BTW the otg cable came from Walmart and it works perfectly. Picture included. I would recommend this little amp.
Line 6 v20
I like the amp. Iam a vry green player, but this amp is versatile and adds fun to playing with all of the different sounds. I dont feel a pedal is warranted yet so the amp is helpful. The tuner built in is very cool as well
Great Amp
Bought for my dad as a recliner mini amp. The tones are all pretty good.
It does still have something you can't quite put your finger on in regards to a slight artificial feel (maybe compression or the speaker simulation since it's a FRFR speaker). Having said that, all the effects are cool to use and he's found his preset he likes.

Good Modeling Combo
Good modeling amp as long as the presets are really the tones you're looking for. My quest continues for a new practice amp. My Sales Engineer Justin K is absolutely the best in customer care & service.
nice practice amp, not needed pre set effects
i like the compact design, and always been a fan of line6
products. ihave a lot of pedals and small living space
so this little amp did fit the bill when it came it was alot
smaller than i thought. it does sound excellent like all line6
amps do and i have played on a few really expensive line6 amps
and this is the first one i owed. and sounds the like a real
expensive full stack at full blast on the volume for the price
not a big fan of pre set effects on amps. anyone looking for a
great little practice amp that will make you sound like eddy van
halen at a great price.
Could have been great
The hardware is really good, but where this amp falls flat is a lack of support from Line 6 concerning the Spider Remote editing software. Line 6 touts the Spider Remote app in the marketing, but yet there isn't any tutorial or instructions on how to get the most out of it. The user is left to figure it out on their own. I did, with a fair amount of frustration, but I've got almost forty years of experience building and using computers. If you are not a computer-savvy individual, you'll likely pull your hair out if you even know where to start.
If you can use the software, there's the ability to upload/download tones and you will likely find something of interest. But, if Spider Remote leaves you scratching your head then you're stuck with the 16 presets. In that case, I'd go with a different amp that is easier to use.
Bad choice
This amp sounds harsh, and the amp models are not very good. Also, it sounds nothing like whatever guitar you run through it.
It took me a couple of chord chunks and a quick solo riff to decide to box it up again and send it back. The Positive Grid Spark or Boss Katana are wiser choices, by far.
4 out of 5 if I used Mac!
I will star by saying I'm pleasantly surprised with the tones I get from this small modeling amp. I have a slightly bigger Orange Crush 35 and I honestly think like this little line6 better. However, it has a major flaw and that's the software if you are not a Mac user. In the year that I've had this thing I've only gotten the tone editor to launch one time on my PC. I have contacted support but even they couldn't help. If you use PC DO NOT BUY LINE6 modeling stuff
Poor Quality
For Starters.. 200 different effects as advertised is not true.. More like 3 to 5 , that are useable.. The built in Presets, are poor quality.. I would not recommend this amp,to anyone!! especially!! someone new to learning guitar. There are much better options ..to choose from in this price range.
