Shockingly fun to play
I bought this guitar as a cheap junker to keep in the shop, but after playing it a few days, it's just too good for that treatment. I love the way it plays. Intonation is perfect. It can be a bit twangy, but nothing that can't be fixed with a heavier right hand technique.
The Strat style headstock is awesome too.
Sonoran Mini Fender
This guitar is so perfect for me. My lovely bride purchased this for me for Christmas this year and when she looked at it she decided to let me have it early. I am so grateful she did. I love the sound the body projects and the easy of playing this instrument. I do have small hands and the wife notices the struggle I have with stretches and trying to use my thumb at the top string of the guitar. So she was on the lookout for a smaller necked guitar without embarrassing me. She bought a very unique guitar the "Sonoran Mini Acoustic Fender Guitar" that sounds perfect, and I enjoy playing it so much my other two acoustic guitars now are hanging on a shelf. They will get used I'm sure I just don't know when. :)
I Highly Recommend this Guitar for younger players and for adults with my struggle and issues.

I have had this guitar for over a month and I really like this one Bravo! Fender! This guitar stays in tune better than any I have had. Worked on it it a bit to get it where I like it shaved saddle a bit and it plays like a thousand dollar guitar action is perfect!
Great value
I have had mine for a week or so and to me it was what I was looking for, a couch guitar. It's not as loud as a bigger guitar, but that's fine with me. Impressed with how well it stays in tune barely have to adjust it if at all. Plays nice no noticeable defects that I can report. Solid job Fender on this affordable mini guitar! Set up was done by me so I played with it until I got it how I think it should play. Thank Sweetwater!
I'm Very Pleased With The Fender Sonoran Mini
I'm delighted with this guitar, which I purchased in February 2022. The quality and finish of the instrument are superb and exceeded my expectations. The gig bag is thin and of low quality, but it is not a deal-breaker for the overall price. This guitar sounds decent for the size, and it is perfect for a beginner or a seasoned player who wants something small and portable to practice or take on vacation. My perspective is subjective, but at first, I found the instrument difficult to play with the stock Fender Strings, as it was challenging to do barre chords. I promptly swapped the strings with La Bella 7GPUL Phosphor Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings - .009-.048 Ultra Light and it made a huge difference. This instrument would be a great first guitar for a child, but please swap out the strings with a lighter gauge to make it easier to play and keep the child from getting discouraged. As usual, Randy with Sweetwater is a fantastic sales representative. Please give Randy a pay increase because he deserves it for his outstanding customer relationship management skills.
