Amazing guitar
This is one of the best guitars I have ever played. The neck is thin but not too much to wear it still fits nicely in your hand, and the pickups sound incredible. The look of this is absolutely immaculate, and the case matching is the cherry on top. However, this guitar can be a little uncomfortable playing whilst sitting down as there isn't much of a contour. I also noticed the the top corner the guitar tends to dig into my rib cage when playing. These things are the only negatives I have about this instrument . Overall, it's a behemoth of a guitar
Amazing guitar!!
So first of the fit and finish of this guitar is great and the matching guitar case just adds to how awsome this guitar is. The feel and playability is amazing as well and this guitar is light not near as heavy as I thought it would be.
The sound is amazing as well the JH custom EMG pickups make this guitar just rock! I would recommend this guitar to anyone that wants to play rock of metal. There is nothing I do not like about this guitar and being a fan of Metallica and James Hetfield this is a home run in my book!

This guitar is killer and a lot of fun to play. Sounds awesome and the play ability is spot on!!!
Good, But.....
I have the guitar for 4 months now. It sounds, looks and the finish is great. There are few things that may put some off to this guitar though. 1st off the price, way too expensive for what it is. It is not a sit down and play guitar. It slides off the legs regardless of position, the neck is a little too fat for me and the nut is plastic. The 1st time I went to change the 9V battery out for the EMGs I found that one of the screw holes was drilled too big causing the screw and its holder to just spin. LTD could have at least placed a battery door and tusq nut for the money they are asking. I am a Metallica fan and never owned an E shape guitar and thats why I bought it. I always played strat shaped guitars and should have just stuck with what I was comfortable with. Too late to return it so I am going to keep it in my collection.
Looks cool, but…
The guitar looks killer, but between the cheap LTD locking tuners and the extremely poorly cut cheap plastic nut, mine would not stay in tune at all. It would drift mid song. Getting a new nut made and upgrading tuners on an already outrageously priced guitar are not things you should have to do on a brand new somewhat "high end" guitar. I ended up selling mine at a huge loss because I was past the 30 day return window. Save your money and buy another brand. I've had two LTDs now that were complete turds. My rating is not a reflection of Sweetwater at all. They were and still remain awesome.
