I got this and a 16" because the Signature Full Crashes were a little on the powerful side for the use in church. I wanted something that would open up with a softer touch and these did the trick. The serious hammering gives them alot of "fizz" as the Minister of Music described it. I like them so much; I have an 18" and 20" on special order.
