Bass shipping box, no case. The best way to ship.
I needed to ship a t-bird shaped Spector Rex Brown bass and, was unsure if this would work for a non-FOS instrument.
The inflatable side pieces fit well over the bass's wings and provided nice semi-ridged protection. The 2 cardboard pieces locked the bass into place however I did add additional bubble wrap around the neck and headstock to be on the safe side.
The Bass arrived without damage (even by FedEx) and the buyer commented it was the most well-packed bass he'd ever received.
It's a little pricy but I was a Gear Exchange seller and SW offers a discount when sold thru GX.
