The JCM 800 debuted in 1981 and was immediately responsible for blowing more roofs off of clubs and stadiums than perhaps any other amp of the era. Now, the Synergy Marshall JCM 800 encapsulates this iconic roar into a convenient 2-channel preamp module, enabling you to harness the British-infused master-volume voice used by influential players such as Slash, Zakk Wylde, Jeff Hanneman, Kerry King, KK Downing, Glenn Tipton, and many more. Loaded with three 12AX7 preamp tubes, the Synergy module injects your playing with the same aggressive midrange bite, tight low end, and crisp highs as the full-size amplifier. Moreover, the built-in Zero Watt power amp section allows it to replicate the original amplifier's phase inverter circuitry. This full-featured module brandishes two identical channels, each with Bass, Middle, Treble, and Master volume controls. What's more, per-channel High/Low switches enable you to toggle between high and low sensitivity modes, and you get a Bright switch for each channel. There's also a 3-position cathode select switch for configuring your input tube bias setting. Chock-full of British-infused hard rock attitude, the Marshall JCM 800 module scratches that itch for arena-sized crunch.

This puppy is flat out a JCM800 Marshall with all the variants. The new 3 tube design is just beyond expectations. I am getting all sorts of 80ish high gains (Judas Priest, etc, who hasn't used this amp?) and even darker more weird early Trower stuff. This along w the SLO II are my two fav modules and they respond to various drives and boosts in the most delicious ways. If you're not hip to Synergy at this point you are indeed missing the best thing to have happened to guitar amps since they all got incredibly expensive. Sure the initial base docks and power amp choices are not inexpensive but the beauty is you are not stuck w a $ amp that is just that amp. Load up another module and bang all new amp to mess with. I run a SYN2 into my SYN50/50 loaded with great tubes into twin Mesa 2x12 cabs in true stereo loop with stereo dual delay effects and my beloved GOAT true-stereo Fulltone Supra-Trem into the power amp it's just mind boggling options of tones and panning. SYNERGY is it! Get on the wagon!

The extra tube and new technology that they use in this module definitely gives it a step up. I have 8 modules so far and this one is definitely the best one. It really sounds incredible, Highly recommend it!
