Returned Schecter Stiletto
This isn't necessarily about the bass that I had to return. It had some electronics issues in it but it was also a demo which I've never had a problem with. This is about Sweetwater. Their customer service, and the way they handle their customers. These guys are absolutely magnificent. I traded it out with one just like it except another color because they did not have one this color, and everything was done within a week. I can't see myself ever using anybody else except Sweetwater for all my musicians needs.
Incredible Bass
After years of playing one specific brand of bass, not because of loyalty, but more because of availability, I fianlly found a bass that truly fits me and my playing style. At Christmas, I got to play a friends 5 string Schecter Stiletto and fell in love. After much research and plenty of review reading I went with this Stiletto Extreme 4. The tone output and clarity of this bass is absolutely perfect. My drummer at church has even made multiple comments about how much better it sounds and the clarity of it verses my other bass. This won't be my last Schecter bass, as I already have my eyes on a 5 string to replace my current one
Very Good Bass
My Daughter wanted to start playing Bass, I wanted to get her something in the middle of the road price range, Not expensive but not cheap. Her favorite Bass player is Simon Gallup from The Cure & I knew he played Schecter gear so this was a winner from the get go for her.I payed an additional $... for a set-up from the Luthiers @ Sweetwater and I am happy i did because this baby played awesome when we got it.The see thru black finish looks fantastic. I am not going to lie i am a Guitar player, but I did sneak in to her room when she wasn't home plugged in to her Hartke 50w combo with a Source Audio Aftershock Bass Distortion pedal & had a good old funky Bass slap session. It was a blast. A big Thank you to my Sweetwater rep Ray Gonzales for making this dream come true for her. She practices three or more hours everyday & absolutely loves this Bass,

do not really write reviews but i think this might be my best experience all around, i would have rated 6 stars if i could. Started with purchase, 15 min after completing online purchase i got a call from Bart, had good conversation made sure i got everything ill need to start playing out of the box. Suggested some things that would make for a better playing experience with no pressure to buy from them though i would and will be getting all i need through them in the future. i got pictures of my Schecter Bass and full update of shipment with easy way to track. got it 2 day before due date unwrapped and it is the cleanest best sounding great feel i LOVE it. TY Bart and sweetwater wish all businesses ran like yours Cheers.
Verry satisfied
I love the Bass. The hard part was the temptation to keep it for my self rather than give it to my Grandson for his twentieth birthday. The setup was spot on. Unlike enything I had looked at in locale Guitar stores. Sweetwater dose it rite.
Schecter Stiletto Extreme 4 Bass Guitar
Schecter is a great guitar maker but if you buy the lower end product line you are taking a 50/50 chance it will not feel or performs as the guitars or bass that are made out of Korea. I would look at this guitar and automatically assume this guitar was not a beginners bass. I would save up a bit more money and invest in the Korean made models. This is a guitar brand that many true artists recommend. I recommend this brand to others.
This guitar flew under the radar for many years and is becoming more known about then it ever has been before n the past.

I was expecting a lot more then I got with this bass. Very Average sound & not a whole lot of tone adjustment. It felt like a cheap guitar. I thought for a similar price the ESP was a lot better, better punch.

Neck is so slim,very uncomfortable,way too small for my hands,sounds ok,but not as good as a comparable schecter I had some 6 years or so ago,not real happy but that's what I get for buying without trying out first!Not Sweetwater's fault,service is top notch,rep's are awesome!Not worth it to pay $100 or more to send back,so I'll keep it and try to sell it.
