This case fits a Tele perfectly. I did have to modify mine slightly. Because I have a Scruggs drop D and a Glasser B bender.

I recently aquired a Stratocaster that had a damaged case (and was discounted accordingly), so decided I needed a new one. I have 4 other Fenders that came in these newer molded cases so it was a no-brainer to order this. I have had about every iteration of Fender case that there is over the last 40+ years of owning Fenders and this version is by far the best, even superior to the G&G wooden cases. I consider it a bargain for the quality and level of protection you get.

this is an absolutely perfect case for my strat. it is cushy and well-formed for the shape of my guitar. solid exterior with large snap closures. soft blue liner and i want to be buried in this case.. it is that perfect.

I love these cases for their durability. I use the Silver/Blue cases for my Teles, and the Black/Gray for my Strats. Love them all.

This case is really very nice. The feel is good and makes me and my guitar feel safe. The latches are top quality and they are subjected to the greatest forces. My best strat has found a home.

This case is gorgeous, but also well constructed. The molded material is worth the extra money for protection and the exterior is not going to get torn up the way a wooden case would.

I needed a case for my new Strat since it didn't come with one. So, I looked over the selection of cases I could purchase. I absolutely did not want someone run of the mill cheap case for my newest investment. Although pricier than most of the other options, I've always believed you get what you pay for. So I chose the Fender Deluxe Molded Strat/Tele case. When it arrived I was pleased and impressed. Very solid good looking case! The interior is nice and holds the guitar perfectly. The latches are easy to use as the are larger than traditional metal latches. And you can lock the case with the middle latch. Highly recommended!

I like this case for the following reasons:

1.) This case will work fine if you transport your guitar via taxis, cars, vans, etc. It also protects your gear from fog, rain, snow, and the sun better (harsh environments) than a regular case. If you are going on a world tour, you will need a real road case.
2.) If the exterior gets banged up, who cares, it's gray plastic.
3.) The best part of this case is the plush blue interior. The storage compartment is slightly smaller than a regular Fender case, but it's suitable.

I have four Fender regular cases. They are beautiful cases, but they cannot survive any form of transportation without getting hammered, and I paid too much money to get the crap beat out of them.
The molded plastic case is the way to go.

I have owned several good cases, and this one is the best it is solid and fits the guitar well. very secure feeling with this one.

We have owned many cases over the decades but none are as nice as this one is. Lighter weight then the typical hardshell that is basically a mere plywood, this case being made of the ABS type of material is solid but light.

The interior is plush and has a contemporary stratocaster being stored inside, it is snug and keeps the guitar from moving around, has ample storage room in the covered box area is nice. Love the way the case is hinged and how the clasp work and the lock is a bit more solid then most other cases. The angle of the handle is perfect and sturdy as well.

It is more than worth the price, and we would not hesitate to purchase again. So far, Sweetwater has been perfection for us here in my household, we are a family that we all play a guitar, or piano. I will never take my business elsewhere, why would anyone? Free shipping, products backed by them, customer service is amazing, prices are great and a lot of sales giving a deal all the time.

I was a little nervous buying this case as I have a custom Tele that is a slightly different shape than normal but it still fits perfectly. The case is light and the blue interior is sweet. The latches are high quality and I also love having the TSA approved lock. Bonus points for utility since it can also fit a Strat.

My experience with Sweetwater is always great and this purchase went as smoothe as always. I've got a Fender Strat with a beautiful translucent blue finish. I really needed a proper case. I Kept seeing this one come up, so checked out other reviews and went for it. This case is wonderfully designed. It is light but solid. The snaps and latches close with a reassuring crisp snap and they stay solidly closed The center latch does have a lock and key also. The blue plush interior is perfectly cut out for my Strat and fits snugly with no movement. The blue plush lining really makes this blue guitar a sweet piece of eye candy. I think this case would survive crashing down three flights of stairs or dropped to the street from two stories and the guitar would be just fine and the case just suffering some scrapes. The hinges are solid too. The internal compartment is big enough to hold a couple of peddles too besides the usual cables and strap . It's roomy So it is light and solid with the Fender logo on the case top. This case is priced more than the standard case but you really get a lot for your money. It's the case of the future!

Got this for a Fender Player stratocaster HSS and it protects my investment securely. The cut out is made specificaly for strats and you can tell when you set it inside. It has a little bit of leeway but your axe will not move much as some of the more general electric guitar cases. My guitar stays put. The latches are plastic but close securely. It can be locked. Quality if great. Looks is really nice with the blue interior. Good storage compartment to place a strap and a 10ft cable, tuner, picks, etc. I would recommend this case to anyone who wants to protect thier investment.

I recently bought a G&L ASAT T-Type guitar from Sweetwater. Unfortunately to keep the price down G&L doesn't include a hardshell case. I ordered a popular brand case from Sweetwater for $200 but the fit was so tight that the strap button on the end or the guitar was to tight against the case and the top of the headstock on the other end was as well. I have a newer Strat that came with this Fender case so I tried my G&L in it and it was a perfect fit and much better padding and better all around build. If you are looking for a molded case for your Tele or Strat then this Fender case is the best case that I could find short of a expensive flight case.
Of Course Adam Hunter at Sweetwater exchanged the case that I bought from him for this Fender case quickly with no problem.

All the other reviews were all spot on. The latches are easy and a perfect solid "click" My Sweetwater sticker was the first one.
Excellent buy and not heavy plywood to lug around either.

Fits perfectly, it's nice and sturdy, and not expensive. Definitely recommended.

Great case. Durable for protection. Seems pretty water/moisture resistant. Guitar fits tight into molded area in shell. Great looking color to the eyes. Heavy duty handle and hinging systems. Locks a pretty good one for this price range. The only thing in my opinion that could have been designed better is, the only area u can store straps and pics is in the compartment in middle of case with a lid. The rest of the case is form fitting, no area to store small components. If u don't mind that than. Great case. For the extra stability of the guitars safety.

This case is great. Feel like I could drop it off a cliff and my guitar would be fine.

The only thing preventing me from giving it 5 stars is that the inside smells. I would suggest leaving it open and locking it in a room with an open window for a couple days.

I needed one more case for one of my Strats and since I already had the usual colored one with the light grey inside I decided to go with this one. Pretty much same case as the other with just a different color. Good solid case, far better than the ones Gibson has been using IMO.

On the inside it is like other plush cases. Materials seem good; storage compartment is long and wide, but shallow (typical of Strat/Tele cases). The hinges and latches seem solid. Latches have a noticeable engagement feeling. Outside is molded plastic that is nice and secure. It's a bit bulkier than wood-based cases. It fits my Tele like a glove.
My only complaint so far is that it is a good bit more expensive, but very nice overall.

The new color is really nice and, as always, ordering through Charlie Davis was effortless and shipping was quick.

Quality product from Fender! I'm very happy with it. Super durable. The product should last forever if taken care of, definitely a buy it for life purchase!

Exactly what I was looking for to house my new Strat!

Last year I purchased a Sweetwater Exclusive American Professional Strat in Sapphire. The case that it came with was like this one only in Black with gray interior. As I was looking a couple of months ago I came across this case, Gray with Blue interior and I had to get it as it helps me know which guitar I am grabbing and the interior goes with my guitar's color.
The case is well made with a plush interior with placenta of space for a few accessories. It is not a flight case, but I believe it would protect a guitar from anything short of a tornado.

Very pleased with this case. While I love the look of the tweed and the thermometer cases, this one clearly offers greater safety when I'm traveling with my Tele. The new blue interior looks great against the guitar. The latches seem very reliable.

I have a few black molded cases, but this gray model is new... it looks awesome... and provides excellent protection !!!
