Stingray Special
I am a novice, somewhat intermediate bass player. I have always wanted an American built Stingray (I have a Ray34....great bass) and when I found out how little this costs (0%-48 months), I had to pull the trigger. I have had it for a week to give me a little time with it. It sounds and plays awesomely. It is Frost Green Pearl and the finish and fit were flawless. Sweetwater did a great job of making sure it was perfect before sending it. The set up from the factory was perfect. Even the factory strings, EB 45-100 are perfect for this bass. The neck is so smooth, the frets are perfect, the pre-amp actually makes a difference when adjusted. It is everything I thought it would be. Thank you Sweetwater and Andy Rice for helping me with this purchase.
