Customer Service and products
Mackie speakers are great. The customer service is the best. Justin Sunday is amazing to work with. My church and myself have purchased a ton ($$$$$$) of equipment from Sweetwater in the past couple years and I always work with Justin on every purchase. Justin thanks for everything.
Mackie offers Great sound for a great price
These speakers are everything that I've grown to expect from Mackie. Crystal clean sound with a lot of punch.
Headroom plus heavy cabinet = HQ power!
These SRM V-Class 15s are the cleanest sounding tops I have ever heard. Crystal clear even at crazy volume levels. I run mine over Mackie DRM Subs and it's a perfect combo. Worth more than they cost!
Lacks in Durability
They sound Clean and Clear at high volumes, but lack in the durability department. First gig and the PLASTIC Pole mount broke... had to toss it up on some road cases up on stage just to finish a gig. I thought this was supposed to be Flagship worthy.
I don't know how Mackie let mine leave the factory...
Cons: Bluetooth was breaking up when paired both on Stereo and zone mode. A factory reset fixed that. The other speaker wouldn't accept any signal from the 1/8" input, and a factory reset fixed that. Shouldn't happen on two different speakers. I won't be using that 1/8" anyway, but even after the factory reset of both units the 1/8" input is still noisy, pops when I plug/unplug with all volumes down, and the audio quality seems to suffer as well.
Pros: The sound quality of the bluetooth after the fix was great and the volume is too loud to bear in a small room at less than half volume on my phone! Inputs 1 and 2 run clean unlike the aux input. The bass response is powerful and clear, leaving room for what's important on top.
I won't be returning to them because of what a massive pain that would be, but I kinda wish I would've gone with the EV or Turbosound speakers I was also looking at.
