A Monster Bass with Monster Tone
Ibanez's SRAS7 is by far one of the most original basses anyone at Sweetwater has encountered, and it's one of the coolest we've gotten to play. Coming straight from the concept kitchen of tone that is Ibanez's Bass Workshop, this monster hybrid fretted/fretless bass features seven strings and all the tones you could ask for. The first three strings are fretless and cover the lower register, which is covered again by the SRAS7's top four strings, so you can effortlessly switch playing styles without getting lost on the fingerboard. To make the most of this unique design, Ibanez went with custom Super J Ashula pickups and loaded it with roundwound and flatwound strings. And with its poplar burl top, this is one bizarre bass you'll want to take home.
