The SR700CN is one of the fastest basses we carry at Sweetwater because of its thin, playable neck. Ibanez uses a combination of jatoba and bubinga in a 5-piece design that keeps your neck strong and stable, and offers up endless sustain. Take your solos to new heights, or at least higher notes - a deep double cutaway and the neck tongue give you complete, playable access to all 24 frets on the rosewood fingerboard.
Flexible tone with Bartolini pickupsThe SR700CN's features Bartolini MK1-4 pickups. This split coil design provides a wide frequency range and enhances definition, giving you a balanced, full tone. And since the neck and bridge pickups have equal response like traditional single coils, you'll have access to a vast, flexible tonal world - without the hum and noise.
Bartolini preamp system lets you get the most from your pickupsThe EQB-IIIS preamp system from Bartolini works with your pickups to let you dial in just the right amount of high-end attack, balanced with thundering lows, and flexible mids that make sure you cut through the mix. You get the usual tone-control suspects - a master volume to drive your amp, and a balancer knob that lets you mix the output of your pickups for personalized tone. But the SR700CN also gives you controls that allow you bass, mid, and trebles tone controls, and a mid switch, that lets you toggle between center frequencies of 250Hz and 600Hz and then use the control to dial in your presence.
