Even more beautiful in person!
I saw the sr2600cbb and fell in love with the looks. So I bought it. It's even prettier in person and sounds great! Asymmetrical neck is very comfortable. Endless tone options. Not heavy at all. 8lbs!
I did a string change to fender 9120s and a little tweeking on the string hight to my liking and she's ready to go. Also have a set of blue FretFX led fret markers going on.
Nothing but compliments
I've owned this bass now for over four years and no matter where I go people fall in love with this bass. Not only is she beautiful but she plays like a dream and sounds like thunder on the lows and silk on the highs. People rave when they play her too, she is so smooth and fast with the perfect diameter fretboard. The Nordstrom pickups sound well rounded and the 15 piece wood neck is a delight to hear. Believe me, get this bass you can adjust to a lot of different sounds with the pickups and control pots. Why this bass has an active setting is beyond me. She sounds wonderful in passive mode.
Great bass
I'm not a bass player particularly, but I wanted one for my home recording studio. I trusted the reps at Sweetwater and they were right again. This is just way too pretty too not buy, but more important, it's a great guitar. The feel is wicked smooth and fast and it's super easy to play. The controls make it a truly multi functional sounding bass. You won't be disappointed.

Best bass ever
This bass is nothing but top notch. As with all Ibanez SR series basses it is the most comfortable bass to play. The looks are just amazing. The photos that Sweetwater post online don't do this thing justice. It is way more beautiful in person than what it is online. The gold hardware really sets this thing off. The tone this bass puts out is just amazing. When Ibanez chose Nordstrand pickups they certainly made a premium choice. Although these pickups are single coil, which generally have a hum to them, these are silent. In my opinion these pickups have a very rich and balanced tone. Thank you Ibanez and thank you Sweetwater.

This bass is awesome. Like all SR's it is super comfortable to play and the neck is super fast with great feeling frets. The finish is better than the pictures made it out to be. The set up is amazing. Thank you Sweetwater.

Such an amazing instrument! Sounds amazing! The EQs are great but it still has a solid passive tone. The neck looks and feels amazing. This bass is well worth the money
So far best bass ever
Very sexy looking bass guitar 3-band EQ with the on-off switch is it great Plus single coil pickups and it sounded great smooth action and Great playing right out of the box. Worth every dollar spent Gold hardware is beautiful in the monorail bridge system is awesome
Extraordinary bass
I purchased the Ibanez SR2600 and I've never looked back. Her tone, feel, and looks are superior to other basses in this price range. I've even played more expensive basses and they can't compare to this bass. This is the perfect bass for anyone who is serious about playing bass.
SR2600(4-String)
It's an amazing instrument! It plays just like my SR500, but it's so much more in terms of quality. I'd heard praise for the Nordstrands, but to play them for myself was another thing! I love how balanced the sound is all across the strings.
