Will do what it’s built for
Agree! A bit pricey! But as much as we spend on gear, I kinda think it''s worth it. It protects against dust and it's water wicking? So for your consideration if your studio gets a little dusty or has any moisture issues, then you'll be glad you bought this in a few years when your motorized faders are still working flawlessly because you protected them (and headphone jacks) from those damaging elements. The cover will be worth every cent then. If you own an A&E product then you already know it's an investment. I buy all my gear at Sweetwater so investment protection is a no brainer. I like this board so much, I already purchased all the Deep plugs and the iPad bracket, but that being said, the cover is my wisest purchase. And it does look stylish.
Adequate dust cover
Works well for keeping the top clean but it's a thin nylon cover. No padding,no protection from impact. Its overpriced and, in my opinion, should come with the unit but it will keep it clean
Dust cover rip off
The cover fits and is lightweight and repels water. What a rip off for the MAP price. Save your money and get a black microfiber towel and use it as a cover. This thing should cost $25 bucks. Nord provides covers for free with their pianos. Allen and heath should take a premium branding lesson from Nord. Save your money
