It does cover the board.
I recently purchased the SQ-5 and am really liking it. I ordered the cover because, hey, one should cover a console when it is not In use. It fits perfectly and has a snazzy logo, but is so light, that it will not stay in place during any level of air movement. I'm thinking of sticking in a couple small magnets, or just sewing a good liner inside this cover to give it some heft and some cushion. Love the board though.
Has the A&H logo, so there’s that.
A flimsy cover, like everyone I've seen for the last 10 years or more. Seems to me a cover should be a little more protective, especially for te extravagant cost.
Does the job - Overpriced
If you want a cover that fits, this is it. It wirks fine, but given quality, price point should be $. While this isn't Sweetwater's fault, the excessive price dictated my rating.
SQ5 cover: over-priced
An expensive piece of gear such as the SQ5 deserves some protection.
Unfortunately, the quality of the SQ5 cover leaves a lot to be desired especially given the price tag. (1) the material is very thin (2) no padding to protect the board (3) nothing to secure the cover to the board e.g. elastic, drawstring, velcro etc.
Allen & Heath gear is typically high quality. For example, the Allen & Heath AH-AP9932 Padded Carry Bag for AB168 and DX168 is well made with heavy duty fabric, padding and velcros to secure the cover. So Allen & Heath can make a high quality cover. So I'm not sure what happened with this SQ5 cover's design. My first impression is that the product is worth about 15% of the price. Disappointing---especially for something with the Allen & Heath name on it.
What a piece of crap
Listen, I never complain about anything and I'm pretty easy-going and maybe sometimes even gullible but my god what a piece of thin cheesy crap this is. It's disgusting Allen Heath, it's way too expensive they should be embarrassed. Equivalent quality to a tall kitchen bag.
The logo is the ONLY value
At this price you can pay someone to make a sturdy cover - with YOUR logo on it!
This is flimsy thin material. Don't waste your money!
Also, eventually the painted- on SQ-5 logo peels off anyway!!
SQ5 Cover : Bad quality for being Over priced
I was excited to get this cover since I have my mixer out in the open and when I received it was really disappointed in the quality structure of this cover. It's a very thin piece of Vinyl and feels like it would tear easily. If pricing was between $ it wouldn't be too much of a big deal, but $? Shame on Allen and heath for that.
