This is a solid music stand that is easy to fold up. Very pleased with it.

I purchased this to replace one that characteristically dumped the music on the floor at the slightest breeze. The stand is sturdy, stable, and easily assembled. Highly recommended.

I wanted a music stand that I could fold up and store hidden behind a chair when I am practicing/teaching in another part of my home that is not my studio. It had to have a table to write on and sturdy enough to hold sheet music books for my classical guitar practice and private lesson students. The Peak Collapsible Music Stand does everything I want it to and folds and packs up in it's carrying bag beautifully. It will also be my portable gigging stand since it takes up less space than my tradition stands and has a handy carrying bag.

I suppose it is possible a very strong wind might knock it over as it is not heavy at all, but I do not expect that to be a problem.

If you want a music stand that folds up small, has a sturdy table, and a lovely carrying bag - you have found it.

Easy to assemble. Light to carry. Convenient carry case.

Portable stands are always a trade-off between sturdy and light/compact. This stand is very sturdy, and the solid desk supports music so much better than open ones. The quick-release clamps are much easier to adjust than screws. The drawback is that, while it is light enough, it's still pretty bulky when folded. At least the included case makes it easy to carry.

I needed something collapsible but sturdy and this is perfect. Love that it comes with a carry case as well.

I really dislike lugging an old Manhasset music stand to gigs - it's too heavy and too bulky. But you can't beat it for stability, even with two big fake books on it! So, the solution? I was given one of these as a gift while I was hosting an Open Mic two years ago, and I have been using it ever since. I purchased another one after giving that stand to a friend who is also hosting an Open Mic. Folds up small and always fits the carrying bag. Easily adjustable and will hold even the fattest songbook or tablet. Highly recommended!
