SKB 1SKB-SC3212 Keyboard Soft Case Reviews
SKB's 1SKB-SC3212 keyboard soft case gives your M-Audio Axiom 49 Mk II or similarly sized 49-key MIDI controller the protection of a hard case and the portability of a gig bag - all for a great low price! Inside, the 1SKB-SC3212 features molded foam and a plush lining that securely cradles your controller, providing the perfect fit. Around that, there's a series of layered rigid foam, which protects your keyboard from impact. An exterior of sealed 600-denier nylon with padded straps and handles also makes the 1SKB-SC3212 weather resistant and easy to carry. And thanks to its large exterior pocket, there's plenty of room for your cables and accessories in SKB's 1SKB-SC3212 soft case.

Could've been a great case.
Pros: very light weight; rigid outer foam seems like it would provide plenty of protection.
Cons: interior is not "plush" as described here, or "padded" as described on SKB's site - it is more like a styrofoam cooler covered with a thin black cloth. Any bump or shock to the exterior of this case would transmit right through to the keyboard inside. Due to the interior stiffness, measurement is critical. Other sellers and even the factory box the case comes in list depth as 3.5", but I believe 3.25" is closer to correct. Will not fit a Venom.
If this case had a decently padded interior and tie down straps, I'd give it an extra star and recommend it. Throw on a heavier duty zipper and some exterior reinforcement - it might get close to five. As is, I wouldn't use it for a keyboard.
Adequate soft case with no inner straps to secure keyboard
The bag gets the job done and protects my keyboard better than simply carrying it around naked. However, the hardware looks flimsy and there is nothing to secure the keyboard inside the case. Consequently, it is free to bounce around inside the case.
