I posted a review on here about this case and after speaking with my sales rep Charlie it was decided I would return this case and get the humes and berg case instead ! And as ALWASYS Sweetwater is Amazing and helped me with this ! Thank you Sweetwater !!!!!

After using this case for a few months I found that the Lid of the case bends and isn't straight on the case rather it is bent in towards the case !! needs more straps on it !!!

Excellent quality I love the 3 handles

I needed an affordable case for my kick drum so I could start loading it in a trailer with other band equipment. It is sturdy enough to protect the drum and light enough to handle. if you have these for all of your drums, they will stack very well and can be transported safely and compact enough to be stored inside your house or studio without taking that much more room than the size of the drum. Quality was excellent and the service at Sweetwater is as always, awesome.

My 16" x 22" kick drum has winged tuning lugs, and that apparently added just enough depth that my drum sticks out of the case about a half-inch. But once the cover is on and secured, my drum fits snugly inside the case and doesn't rattle around. I appreciate the convenience of the single quick-lock connector, and the solid metal handles give me assurance the case will last a long time.

Having used vulcanized fiber cases in the past, the added weight of the SKB cases caught me off guard. I normally stow my kick drum on an overhead shelf, but was surprised how much how much of a struggle it was to lift the drum up there. If I were gigging with this set every weekend, I'd definitely go back to using lighter cases, but since I only use this set a few times a year, I'm satisfied with the purchase.
