I just ordered three of them for upgrading old cases for three of my solidbody electrics, and they are great! They're lighter in weight than a close competitor (which is also widely available), sturdy, reliable, functional, and just everything you really need in a good electric guitar case.

Fits both of those guitars well. Case seems good overall. One tiny little negative... I would have liked a compartment with a door for the price, but not a huge deal.

Well built case. Solid locks made to TSA specs. Suggested by Sweetwater's compatibility app. Perfectly fits my new G&L Comanche which came with a decent Pro-Tec gig bag that has no interior neck or body supports so the guitar could just flop around. Fine around the house, I guess. I've also noticed, as a Humidipak user, that the packets don't last long in a gig bag.

good case; locks really well, clasps don't stick out and get in the way while you are trying to lock and unlock.....comes wit a TSA accessible key-lock (if you need that). Nice interior

I've bought a few similar type brands over the years and to be honest I just prefer the SKB quality over all the others. It's sturdier AND the cases are actually stackable. The interior for me is where it truly stands out though. Not just a soft plush interior but one that actually prevents your guitar from shifting around, which some cases actually do allow to happen. It's also pretty airtight also so if you're worried about temperature or humidity getting to your guitar, no worries here. I would have no problem at all putting a freshly clean and re-stringed guitar in here and putting it away for 20 years or so and expect it to be in the exact same condition when I open it. This isn't cheap poly either like you get with Ibanez guitars. Sadly, those cases look great but a very susceptible to cracking and breaking which I've found out firsthand.
If you're going to invest in a decent guitar, you may as well spend the few extra dollars and get a quality case that will guarantee your gear stays as protected as it should be!

Was quite happy with this case. Watched the video and was sure this was what I wanted. When I got it, I was surprised that is was lighter than I thought it would be. But it's sturdy and my Strat fits perfectly.

Nicely made case but it's really short in length. My LTD M 1007 was supposed to fit according to several sources but the length is too short. My guitar has a 25.5" neck scale and it's about an inch too long for this case. So much for it supposedly fitting all M and MH series LTD guitars! Buy the manufacturers brand of case to go with your guitar if you want guaranteed fit.

Bought this one for a G&L Tribute ASAT Carved Top, fits perfect and the guitar is not shuffling inside the case. Material looks sturdy. It did travel as checked luggage and arrived great. Came with two keys and has some spaces inside around the space where the neck goes, to keep accessories as needed. Handle grip is comfortable as well. Highly Recommended.

I've bought 3 of these through the years. Telecasters fit great in these with no sliding around or fit issues. With this one one of the corners needs the slightest nudge to get the aluminum edges to join, but it's not something to really bother me, or you as a buyer. I like the 'bumper' moldings on the outside corners... somehow gives me a bit more confidence if bumped around.

The sales people were very helpful when ordering.

To sum up.. A worthy case for a Telecaster. I'd buy this again if I need one.

Small space inside yet it does what it's meant to do: protect your sweet gear, I had problems with the first one I bought, but sweetwater's excellent customer service took care of it all and sent me another one in perfect condition.
used it for my LTD Horizon and EBMM jp6, both fit perfectly.

I can't beleive how well constructed and durable this casw is. This case fit my G&L ASAT CLASSIC, it is soon hard to find an inexpensive case for G&L guitars. This case is a must!!!

I bought this for my Charvel So-cal. It fits perfectly. The only reason for the 4 stars is that the lock on the case is WORTHLESS! I paid $150 for the case and if they are going to the trouble of putting a lock on the case it should have some functionality. Other than that the interior is extremely soft and will protect my guitar against everything from dust to dings.

Avery well built guitar case. My Jackson SL2 fits like a glove in it.

If you have an original 70's or reissue Strat, you'll need this case! The Fender cases and the older SKB-66's do not work well with the 1/2" longer "big" headstocks because the end of the neck rests on the ledge of the bottom part of the interior of the case, and the lid pushes down on the end of the headstock too. That will warp your neck! This new SKB-66 case is longer than it's previous version and it accomodates the big headstock strats with a longer headstock area. I love these cases!!

This is a great case that really keeps your guitar hugged in and secure. Would definitely recommend it to someone looking for a great case for their strat.

Used to take a proto guitar to NAMM. Did the planeside check thing twice and all was safe and sound. Really nice case. No regrets.

I don't give away 5 stars often ... this case is fantastic. I am a collector and pro player and am always torn between a good looking traditional case (tolex covered) and the ABS cases (like this). This case holds the guitar (Strat style) perfectly with zero wiggle. There are plenty of storage areas as well. Best part is the latches, easy and tough. If you need a case for this style guitar, look no further.
