Worth the wait!
Received this guitar about a month ago after ordering in April.. and my gosh does it live up to my expectations and then some.
I have some other nice guitars (2017 D18 Custom Shop, '68 Martin D35, and a '61 Gibson Country Western) and this stands head and shoulders above all of them in its complexity of tone. Fills a room up in a very similar way to my 1930 Juzek Upright Bass.. kind of feels quiet when you're behind it but out front it's projecting like nothing I've ever played or heard. Had my bud play it for me (who has a lighter touch than me) and it's an absolute cannon.. I've never heard a guitar with so much power and clarity all at the same time. Sounds even better than it looks.. absolutely unreal!
Only complaint would be the sub-par case that was supplied (broken d-rings on the handle, interior lining peeing off).. kind of a tough look for Gibson on a $7500 guitar but ya know I didn't buy the thing for the case.
Do want to extend a huge thanks to Aaron and Andy at Sweetwater for providing exceptional customer service and getting a new case on order for me without batting an eye.
