Seymour Duncan SHPR-1n P-Rails Neck Pickup - Black
Seymour Duncan SHPR-1n P-Rails Neck Pickup - Black Reviews
A ton of tonal options from a single pickup! That's what you get from Seymour Duncan P-Rails! The P-Rails pickup fits inside any standard humbucker opening and gives you the choice of P-90, humbucking, and single-coil sounds all from the same pickup! These aren't close facsimiles of these lauded pickups; they're spot-on because they are the real thing. A real P-90 is paired with a blade pickup. Alone, the P-90 is loaded with great P-90 sounds. When paired with the blade, you get thick humbucking tones. Rounding out the trifecta, the blade alone conjures classic single-coil sounds. The P-Rails pickup is a tone-hungry guitarists dream come true!

Brought new life and fun to my G&L ASAT Classic Bluesboy Neck
I tried several combinations of pickups in my G&L ASAT Classic Bluesboy and just couldn't find anything for the neck. I considered making a new pickguard and going with a classic tele neck. Or maybe go with a Duncan phat cat p90. Then I ran into this P Rail with the triple shot ring and was really intrigued. It was easy to solder up and now I have 3 options up front: Humbucker, Single Coil and P90. I flipped my single coil (rail) up front so it's more like a tele neck. So far I'm extremely happy with the sound and options. It's brought new life to that G&L and is fun to play and experiment with.
Most versatile pickup i ever owned
Absolutely love this pickup and couldnt think of a better combination to go with a stacked Seymour Duncan Lil 59 on bridge ,and special thanks to Tyler Moore (sales engineer @sweetwater for the recommendation of this neck ickup and installation
came out perfect
Very nice pickup
I love Les Pauls, the only thing I have a real problem is that often they are too fat when playing with a keyboardist. Putting one of these in the neck and using the rails side allows me to get a nice bright thin rhythm sound that blends nicely and doesn't compete with the keys. The only negative is that as a humbucker they are a bit lackluster, not bad in any way, but nothing to write home about.
