This is how all cases should be built. Sturdy, well balanced and padded. And Schecter took all the formerly wasted space around the headstock and turned it into storage bins. Genius!

Firstly, the case is awesome and fits the bass perfectly with zero wiggle room. Molded, sturdy and looks great. Will be a fine insurance policy for my son's new Schecter bass.

Secondly, want to give a shout out to Sam who helped me on this purchase as well as others. I appreciate his assistance and knowledge of the right solutions for my needs.

Lastly, Sweetwater is very competitive with pricing and is generally lower. Plus, the free shipping is a deal maker. I research pricing a lot on the products I want to buy and can say SW is better then most out there.

As always, I am impressed by Sweetwater. As for the case, I think that for a price double the average case, Schecter would have sprung for latches that didn't feel so cheap. The positive of the guitar fitting perfectly is tainted by my concern about the latches coming loose in transport.
The embossed logo is cool but I would rather have a decal if the money went to better latches. The logo on the case is sure to bring questions, I will answer them with the points I have made here.

The Schecter SGR6 Bass Hardshell case fits my Schecter Omen Extreme-4 perfectly.
The case it tough and yet silky smooth on the inside. The fit is tight and secure, closes tightly.
The latches are tough as well. Very well built case. I like the Schecter logo on the top and the handle is positioned nicely when the case is loaded.

I got this case for my new Hellraiser Extreme-5. As one previous reviewer mentioned, it doesn't actually fit this bass despite Schecter listing the SGR6B as the proper case for this series on their website. I even emailed Schecter to confirm the case and they assured me that this was 100% definitely the correct one. Well, I unboxed the case and, just as I feared, the fit was clearly a no-go, with the body size of the bass clearly too big. However, as it was fairly close, and the neck seemed to fit fine, I was able to modify the fit myself by peeling back the felt lining and marking the outline of my bass on the underlying foam, then using a knife to trim the foam around the body area, then re-gluing and stuffing the felt lining back around the edges. Annoying that Schecter doesn't have their own information straight, but with about 15 minutes of "custom" work it now works fine.

As for Sweetwater, the service is great and Matt was very helpful with solving a shipping concern and getting this sent out very fast. The fitment issue isn't their fault, though they may want to check with Schecter and find out the actual case needed for the Hellraiser Extreme-5 and update the product page(s) appropriately.

Schecter did some thinking when they designed this case !!! Good tight fit and sharp looking but the cool part they did was offset the carrying handle to have the weight distributed evenly with ax in it...makes me wonder why all my more expensive hardshells didnt think of that one ??? Love it for sure...as usual...thanx again matt c. for another good recommendation !!!!

This case is great! Fits my Apocalypse C4EX perfectly. Plenty of room for straps, cables, strings. It even arrived one day ahead of scheduled delivery! Thanks Sweetwater.

I bought this case in 2017 for my 2008 Schecter C-4 bass and of course it fits perfectly. Good amount of storage; I keep my strap, tuner, cord, spare battery, pencil, and Radial JDI in the case at all times. Build quality is good, not up to airline standards but more than enough for everyday use and car travel. I've had that bass for 12 years so far and am glad to have the perfect-fitting case for it!

This case IS NOT for the Hellraiser Extreme-4. It boggles the mind as to why Schecter labels it as so. I had to return TWO separate cases, supremely frustrating, because the neck simply does not line up with the molded foam. The body lines up just fine. Please, someone at Schecter just please realize the mistake that you have on your website and correct it. The HE-4 is a great bass, the SGR-6B is NOT FOR THAT MODEL!.

My 2008 Hellraiser 5 fits perfectly. Storage compartments are more than ample for strings, strap & tools. As always, great service from Sweetwater!

I purchased this for my Damien Elite 5 and it fits like a glove! Absolutely no movement in any direction which is perfect. I am giving this only 4 stars because of the storage pockets. They are not large enough to store extra strings still in the packs. I have to store them in the cavity under the headstock. Otherwise, there is plenty of room for a strap, adjustment wrenches, Finger-Ease, etc.

I bought this case for my omen 5. Could not believe how perfectly it fit.
