Stunning Guitar
The guitar is absolutely gorgeous. From the gallery pictures, it appears that no two are alike. Sound-wise, it's somewhere between my Gibson SG Tribute and my old Epiphone G-400, but with a modern bite. Add in the coil-splitting and you have sonic diverse instrument. I will enjoy exploring all the different sounds it produces just on its own. The locking tuners are a plus as are newly designed strap buttons, where it took some time getting the strap on (so it's not going come off easy). Overall, I think this is the best Epiphone version of the SG.
Awesome Guitar
Only reason I am deducting 1/2 star is because the nut was not cut correctly and height is a little high. Don't know how it made it past the 55 point inspection. The rest of the guitar is beautiful and plays great from cleans to high gain. Overall I am happy with it. I will just have to deal with the nut height for now.
