I have about a dozen other SG's of all different types and I think I have finally found the one I’ve been searching for. It has it all looks, feel, sound, playability and MOJO ! The neck is a true 61 type very similar to my 61RI as is the neck joint and back taper and horn bevels, it’s like they took a 61RI and drop a ¾” maple cap on it and that maple is a AAA flame. The BB PRO’s are great, I love Alnico V mags. The PU are not as hot as the 498’s. I find them smoother than the 57 Classic’s and BB1 & BB3 I have in other guitars. The only negative I could find is the single volume and tone controls.
