This has become one of my favorite guitars.
It sounds and feels great, the neck shape is very comfortable.
Strange, the nut slots were cut too tight and needed some cleaning up. I didn't expect that from PRS.
Overall very happy with my purchase and with Sweetwater customer service.

Nice guitar; I like it. Tuners are stiff but they will free up with use probably. My playing improved noticeably with PRS guitars. Nice looking guitar that instills a pride of ownership.
Great guitar
I thought I would never buy a semi-hallow guitar loving the sound of a solid body guitar. Loving Shinedown and listening to some demos of this guitar I decided to go for it. Getting it out of the box and just looking at it, it's a beautiful guitar. Feeling the weight of it was wonderful. Plug it in the tuner and it was almost in tune. Feeling the strings on the neck great action. Now let's see how it sounds. Start off first with the clean sound with the different pickups great sound with the bridge. I normally do not like the neck pickups find them kind of muddy but not with this one, really warm and inviting. I decided to split the different while testing it out and almost didn't want to stop to see what it sounded like with distortion but this is just testing everything. Keep it on clean channel and turn on the MXR super badass distortion pedal. Did not expect the great sounds from a semi-hallow guitar. It was just my preconceived attitude that a semi-hallow guitar would not have the attitude as a solid body. I was completely wrong even on the neck pick-ups. After sitting down while I'm doing the test let's see how it feels standing up and playing for awhile, after playing for awhile you can feel how much lighter it feels.
If anyone is looking for a semi-hallow guitar this one is worth looking into.
I ended up not just purchasing the guitar but some other toys also.

It is a very versatile guitar!
I have been able to get great jazz clean tones from it but I've also been able to get down & dirty raunchy sounds from it as well!

It's A Keeper
Right out of the box it's a beautiful guitar, excellent action, excellent tuning for non-locking tuners, the neck feels good, and with the 5150 combo-amp the sustain last for a very long time before it switches to the harmonic sustain!!! It inspired my grand daughter to ask me for a lesson. Excellent!
Wonderful guitar
The Zach Myers, SE 594 is an absolutely beautiful guitar. Beyond that, it is also one of the best out-of-the-box playing instruments I've ever bought. The frets are dressed beautifully, no sharp ends of any kind, and are highly polished. The bridge set up was perfect, as was the internation right out of the box. The potentiometers feel good, and then looking at the wiring, it is done very cleanly And to a higher quality, then just about any other guitar I own, including my Gibson Les Paul standard. There is absolutely no buzz on any fret, or any notes across the entire guitar. It is also very light, without feeling cheap. The finish is beautiful, with no flaws that I've been able to find so far. A lot of people move to immediately drop pick ups out of import guitars, I would not recommend this on this guitar. These pick ups sound just as good, if not better than a Burstbuckers in my les paul, or the humbucker as I've had in fendees over the years. overall I am very happy with the Guitar. That all being said, there is one small improvement that could be made to this instrument. The tuners don't feel as smooth as they could, and I am comparing them to the S2 Paul Reed Smith, locking tuners in terms of feel/convenience, and these are definitely not up to the same quality. That being said, they do hold tune very well, and they are very functional and I doubt they will fail. If this came with locking s2 tuners or even the gotoh sd90 tuners, itd be a perfect 5 stars. Love the guitar. If youre thinking about it, use sweetwater and pick the top/darkness of the stain you like and jump on it.
As an aside, my guitar was marked as a demo model, however, in looking at the guitar in person, I wasn't able to find really any flaws with it. In looking at Hi-Rez images, you may see a marker to, but nothing that I wouldn't have done in the first stream change on accident within the first month of owning the guitar. My experience with the Sweetwater demo experience has been very good, so please do with that information what you will.
Superb except for tuning machines
The fret work on this model is way better than I've seen in a much more expensive instruments. The frets are highly polished, and the ends are properly leveled and rounded. After minor set up an intonation adjustments, it plays as good as any instrument I've had in my hands, and I have no problem with the pick ups at all there was some scratchiness with the bridge volume control, but some Deoxit fixed that immediately There are minor finish flaws that aren't an issue unless you're one foot away and looking right at them. The stain on the top of the cutaway, it's not consistently cut off at the binding for example, and the inside of the F hole cut out is rough. A short coming, that I could not overcome though was the tuning machines. They were a second class as you can go with an even feel, and the tuner on the D string being so light that guy was expecting that string to go flat with very little use. I have some Kluson locking tuners on order to fix that problem.
All in all, though, it is an excellent value, and I bonded with it very quickly, which doesn't always happen for me.
