PRS SE P20E Parlor Acoustic-electric Guitar - Vintage Mahogany Reviews
Searching for a parlor-sized acoustic-electric guitar with a big voice? The PRS SE P20E is just such an instrument. This acoustic is jam-packed with pro-grade construction and signature PRS appointments, such as a solid mahogany top, X-brace/classical hybrid bracing, a bone nut and saddle, and an eye-catching herringbone rosette and accents. And thanks to its Fishman Sonitone electronics, this A/E can easily transform from a couch strummer to a workhorse stage-ready instrument. What’s more, its crystal-clear tone and ample projection make it an all-around great-sounding studio guitar. The PRS SE P20E is comfortable, fun to play, and easy to pack up and transport. It belongs in every guitarist’s stable.

Beautiful Guitar for sight and sound
My PRS SE P20 Parlor guitar came double boxed and padded in perfect condition. The mahogany wood and trim is far more attractive than the Sweetwater Photos indicate. The sound is full and rich without the harsh "twang" thanks to the mahogany top. I did put a drop of mineral oil in each of the six tuners when it first arrived. Tuning is now smooth and easy. Happy Camper here.
No Regrets
For the money, I don't think you'll find another parlor sized guitar built with the quality of this PRS. It's a beautiful guitar with flawless construction. And the tone and volume are amazing. The only issue I had was that the action was a little high for my liking. I sanded the bridge saddle down appx. 1/16 inch and tightened the truss rod 1/4 turn. And now it plays effortlessly. I've been having so much fun playing it unplugged that I haven't tried the electronics yet. But I'm sure it will sound equally amazing. I've owned three GS Minis and even though they are quality built small guitars, I don't think they are worth the extra cost. And to me, the PRS parlor sounds much better. I'm proud to be a P20E owner.
Good
I'm in love with it
My new blues buddy...
First off, the picture on the website did this beauty no justice. The top and back are gorgeous. It came out of the box in tune, perfect string height and dead on intonation. Not a flaw to be found. Keeps its tune. Love the neck. Best of all, it plays like an electric
PRS 20
This will be brief, I just received it yesterday and will rewrite in a month. First, it came well packed, and found it in perfect condition. It is very lightweight. Very responsive and open sound, neck is easy to play, and sounds like I heard on reviews by PRS. Sweetwater did the 55-point inspection and it was clear they reviewed it very well. Sweetwater is a distributer that I trust, and I have never been let down. I did not give the guitar five stars yet, which may change as it takes time to get to know any guitar, but it came fast, in perfect condition and initially I really like the feel and sound. Back in a month.
