Nothing to change
This is a very comfortable guitar. Everything about it. The controls are in a sweet spot. The neck is thinner but flat rounded on the ends very comfortable. Doesn't dig into my hand like some thin necks. The neck satin finish, and the bodies satin finish are great. Smooth non stick feel. Special active pic ups work and sound great through my ENGL head and cab. The neck has unique glow in the dark fret markers, very kool easy to see. Locking tuners. Easy fast comfortable playing guitar. Mine is less than eight lbs. Well done, nothing to change.

As a guitarist who's played 30+ years if your buying online there's 2 things you had better do , buy from a reputable company , the guitar and the dealer, you won't go wrong with fender backed products or sweetwater, and being more of a high gain player these charvels fit the need perfectly for a super strat , from the day I received help choosing it until the day I unboxed it and plugged it in, the process went quickly and professionally. The guitar came setup ,perfectly and in prestine condition, great feel with the neck and super pickups (EMG),a simple but solid design from crystal clear cleans to blistering qdistortion and Floyd rose 1500 works flawlessly , great guitar, great company and super great salesman thank you Domenic Saracina , very happy customer

Sales Engineer Collin Blue hooked me up with a demo model of the Jim Root Charvel. It was a little scratched on the back and Collin probably painted the worst case scenario when I purchased the guitar, but upon receiving it I was pleasantly surprised. This a great playing guitar,equipped just the way I like them, simple. Since I received it, it's the only guitar I have played and I don't believe that will change for some time and I have 2 les Pauls, a SG and an Ibanez Prestige. Not that familiar with Jim Root but he sure knows how to spec a guitar.

My first experience with buyer's remorse
I've always dreamed of a black matte finish Strat with a maple fingerboard, so when I saw this, it seemed like a no brainer.
I bought it during a time when I got inundated with work, and didn't have more than a few brief chances to play it during the first month that I had it. Unfortunately, it's a struggle for me to get a sound and feel out of it that I enjoy. I don't get much inspiration when I play it. Also, I'm having regrets about having another floating trem during a time when I'm getting inspired by playing a lot of open tunings. Unfortunately, too late to return it, so I have to try to sell it, which is a shame.
