Charvel Pro-Mod Relic San Dimas Style 1 HH FR PF Electric Guitar - Weathered Orange Reviews
The formula for Charvel's Pro-Mod San Dimas Style 1 HH FR PF isn't rocket science — it's quite simple, really. To put it plainly: this solidbody electric guitar is hot-rodded for full-throttle performance; its curvaceous alder body will feel instantly familiar; and its premium appointments, such as a graphite-reinforced maple neck and a silky-smooth compound-radius pau ferro fingerboard, will take your playing to its highest level. For ultra-stable pitch pyrotechnics, this San Dimas features a Floyd Rose 1000 double-locking tremolo. Two red-hot Seymour Duncan humbuckers complete the setup, turning this guitar into a sonic flamethrower with amazing playability and an enormous tonal arsenal. The Charvel Pro-Mod San Dimas Style 1 HH FR PF is polished off with a classic Strat-style headstock, aggressive-looking black hardware, and a spotlight-stealing relic'd finish.

Quite nice
Just had this delivered a few days back & I'm happy with this guitar. I can usually determine if I will bond with a new guitar within minutes & this guitar did not disappoint. I am a Strat guy by far so this feels familiar to me. My only gripe being the location of the pickup selector as it's difficult to get to on the fly. I own several Strats & S-style guitars including a limited edition Suhr & this Charvel holds up. I was very impressed with the fretwork as in my opinion the feel of the neck is everything on a guitar. I like the idea of the relic so I don't have to worry about dings and such. The orange is definitely more red orange mix & looks great in person. Thanks to Shaka at Sweetwater who's been helping me for years.
Great Guitar
I bought this and received it Feb 3rd. It was perfect right out of the box. Everything was set up perfectly. Having a Charvel that is similar to this (Charvel Super Stock SC1) it plays exactly the same. I love the feel, the relic, the speed neck, the weight. It's around 8 lbs but it doesn't feel like that. The JB/59 set up is pretty standard and people know what that is like. Loud and awesome. I can't find any short cuts or blemishes on this at all. It's a great guitar. Highly recommend grabbing one before they're gone. Especially in this Weathered Orange.
